"Sonachon house is now under new owners Leanne and Aaron. They were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with full English, cereals, toast, and yoghurt on offer. They also provide some towels for the beach as well as free loan of bucket and spades.There is a spacious communal lounge which was really nice to relax in over a cup of coffee. "Amazing property and very clean. The only suggestion I would make is for the property management to email the access key information rather than text it to guests with international numbers. "I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) "

"Excellent characterful hotel overlooking the sea. Our room was big with a full width balcony overlooking the sea. The interior of the hotel is very grand and reminded us of some of the older hotels in Italy. Service was good and the breakfast was selection was very good.
