What I would say is it would be worth renting a decent car (don’t use Gold Car/Auto Europe) so that you can get around as taxis in the area are expensive and difficult to get hold of. "Hotel was easy walking distance to the beach & shops. This was lucky because the hotel pool wasn't really big enough for all the guests & had limited sun beds. Had half-board with our stay, food was lovely, enough choice for a 7 nights. Good base for exploring Majorca, shame parts of the hotel were a bit tired & basic. "
