"I loved the hotel, the design, the location, the restaurant, and the people who work there; they were very attentive. Perhaps the only thing to improve is the bed; the bed was sagging. Besides that, everything was excellent! Thank you a lot :D"

"Loved this hotel! Not cheap but would stay there again. The outdoor 3rd floor terrace off the restaurant and bar is a slice of heaven in the middle of a beautiful part of the city-- just short walk to the ocean/Embarcadaro and Bay Bridge. I had an incredible view from my 15th floor room looking out over the Bay. Design is sophisticated and tasteful throughout. Only snag was there were elevator hang ups one evening and the waits were excessive. Only two elevators go to the upper floors so during high traffic times one had to plan for this in calculating travel times/Ubers etc. All in all-- a class operation. I spent half what I would have spent at the (now way too costly) St. Regis. Safe area of SF too. Right next door to the top comedy club, The Punchline, which I love. Saw a great show while there!"

"Excellent city view (worth the price). Great location on Nob Hill. Ideal for family stay. Extortion pricing in the lobby machines and mini-store (($8.00 for a 4 oz. bottle of Pepto-Bismal, $10.60 for one bottle of cold beer!!). Just do your shopping in the surrounding shops..."

"This is my go-to in San Francisco, for five reasons: 1) The lobby restaurant is pretty good and the snack bar is excellent. 2) I get rooms with balconies where I can vape. 3) Just outside the door is Philz Coffee, best of the coffee chains IMO. 4) The Embarcadero food and farmer's market scene. 5) And the views. The beds are good. The shower is the best of a bad situation. I dislike bath/shower combos with shower curtains. Here they've done the best they can by installing upgraded shower heads. There's not a lot of charm, but this hotel does large-downtown-business-oriented-chain as well as can be done. "

"This hotel is lovely! It has someone outside always ready to greet you, which is really a nice touch. The room was nice, no coffee or tea in the room, but free tea and coffee downstairs until 10:30am. Location is amazing, it is two blocks from Fishermans’s Wharf, so you can easily walk to all the action. There were fireplaces all around, and they had an outdoor patio where we cooked s’mores on the fire on sat night. (The hotel provided the s’mores kits). That was a fun thing to do. Only thing I did not like was the $35 day resort fee as I did not partake in using the bikes, gym, or get the $15 food credit each day. The $15 credit could only be used for dinner (not breakfast) at the restaurant that was only open 5-9pm, not a good time for me. So I felt like it was just extra money to the hotel for something I did not use. Overall I was very pleased with the hotel, the cleanliness and location and overall value for price paid so I was happy staying the there! "
