Located remotely. No public transportation near the hotel. No convenience store nor restaurants nearby. We arrived around four in the afternoon and found the restaurant in the hotel closed. There is not even a vending machine We ended up fasting for the day

Oh god..Why didnt you ask me?Bus stop is three Mins away, convenience store is just one Min away...a huge traditional market is only 5 Mins away. Oh my gosh..

A super comfortable place to stay.
This was a rather great place to stay. My room was comfy and clean. Really, James Blue Hostel is the epitome of comfortable. The proprietors are kind with cheerful attitudes, and James helped me plot out a course for the day. The room was roomy with more than enough space

Cosy and comfortable
Cosy and clean place, we were very comfortable (: neighbourhood is very close to "happening" spots at night - no lack of activity! Host James was also very helpful in recommending dinner places and touristy spots to visit. Overall, a great time!

リーズナブルで朝食（コーヒーとトーストとシリアル）がついてました。市外バスターミナルから徒歩１０分弱です 海の見える港の前でロケーション最高でした。

솔직 숙박 후기
침대와 수압이 좋은 것 외에는 비추입니다. 유럽식 조식이라는 이름이 무색하게토스트와 시리얼 두 개라고 말하는 편이 솔찍하지 않을까합니다. 청결면에서도 식당은 불결했고 의자나 테이블이 대부분 많이 흔들거렸고, 개인 수저세트와 접시나 그릇 등은 본인이 챙겨오셔야하겠습니다. 남과 같이 쓰는 게 부담스럽다면 말이죠. 샴푸와 바디클렌저 뿐이라 린스 사용 고객이라면 각자 가져와야할 듯. 매일 하우스키핑 원한다면 주인장님께 언급하셔야합니다. 아니면 스킵. 전체적으로 실망, 리뷰와 사진과 안내가 실제와 많이 다른 듯합니다.

깔끔한 인테리어.
전체적으로 깔끔한 화이트톤의 인테리어로 청소도 잘 되어있었어요. ㄷㅏ만 아쉬운 점은 취식은 쉼터에서만 가능하다는 것... 이 점이 조금은 아쉽네요

여관이었던 곳을 게스트하우스로 운영하고 있네요. 객실은 일반 여관의 룸과 동일합니다. 위치는 속초 중앙시장과 동명항 모두 걸어서 이동이 가능한 편리한 곳에 위치하고 있고 주차도 편리합니다. 1층의 식당 겸 휴게실에서 보이는 바다뷰가 좋았습니다.

전반적으로 모텔 같은 분위기였음 주변자동차 소음에 신경쓰시는 분들은 추천하지않음 하지만 차로 조금만가면 해돋이 명소가 있어서 괜찮았음 설악산국립공원이 근방이라 설악산 가실 계획이라면 추천!!

제임스 블루 게스트하우스는 가성비 최고로 친구들에게 꼭 추천하고 싶은 숙소입니다.
우선 주차장이 넓고 객실이 깨끗하고 바닥이 따뜻해서 아주 좋았습니다. 속초 중심부에 위치하고 있어 속초 중앙시장에 가기도 편리하고 동명항이나 속초해변에 가기도 좋았으며 아바이마을의 갯배 타는 곳도 가깝고 횟집거리도 가까워서 좋았습니다. 1층의 쉼터는 완전히 카페분위기였으며 아침식사로 빵과 우유가 제공되는데 콘센트도 많아 별도로 라면을 끓여먹거나 하기에도 아주 좋았으며 다음에 속초에 오게되면 다시 이용하고 싶으며 친구들이 속초에 여행 간다면 꼭 이용하라고 권하고 싶습니다.. 굳이 점수로 평하라면 10점 만점에 10점입니다.

자주 묵었던 곳입니다. 깨끗하고 저렴해서 새벽에 서울로 오기전날 많이 묵었습니다. 이번에는 모기장에 구멍이 있어서 불편했네요. 침대상태나 이런것들을 보니 이제 슬슬 보수가 필요해보이더군요. 근처 다른 두곳의 게스트 하우스들도 묵어봤는데, 시장과 동명항이 도보로 가능합니다.가격대비 최고입니다.

오래된 모텔을 개조한 것을 알고 갔기에 전반적으로 만족합니다만, 방안 청결이 조금 미흡합니다. 벽과 천장에 죽은 모기가 많이 붙어있어서 2층 침대는 아예 사용을 못했어요... 에어컨위치도... 위치나 친절도는 만족해요... 또한 그닥 편의시설이나 이용시설이 좋은것도 아닌데 오락기까지 유료인것은 매우 안좋네요.. 100원도 아니고 500원이라니...

잘 쉬다 갑니다.
가격대비 괜찮습니다. 게스트하우스라 그런지 젊은 친구들이 재밌게 지내는모습도 보기 좋습니다. 중앙시장, 아바이마을 등 속초 주요관광지 다니기 편하고 주차장 넓은게 아주 맘에 들었습니다. 다만 객실 창에 붉은 건물이 바로 붙어있어서 좀 어두운게 아쉬웠지만 전반적으로 만족합니다.

더럽고 더럽고 더럽습니다
정말 더러웠습니다. 하수구 막혀 세면대에서 사용한 물이 바닥에 고이고... 청소하시는 아줌마 탓하던데 한두번 아닌것처럼 말씀하신던데 그럼 남탓할게아니라 그렇게 교육시킨 사장님도 문제가 있는거죠. 숙소도 먼지 정말 많았구요. 비치되어있는 물건들도 하나같이 사용할 수 없는 수준이었네요. 그냥 찜질방갈까 고민많이 했습니다. 너무 찝찝해서요. 조식도 숙소 수준보고 기대도 안했지만 정말 후졌구요. 아예 관리를 안하시는듯했어요.

편안한 숙소

관리잘되는 게스트하우스
객실에서 음식물섭취 안되고 공동공간도 저녁11시까지라 늦게 닭강정먹다가 주섬주섬 정리해야해서 아쉬운마음도 있었지만 지금 생각해보면 그랬기때문에 깨끗한 방에서 조용히 푹 잘 수 있었던 것 같네요^^ 깔끔하고 가성비 최고 속초 중앙시장에서 걸어서 5분!

따뜻하고 휴식을 편안하게 하였으며 저렴한가격에 호텔못지않은 잠자리였던것 같아서 매우 편안했습니다. 단 불편했던것은 같이 동행한 집사람이 매우 예민하여 1호라인은 자나가는 차소리에 깊은잠을 자지못한것이 아쉬운 점 이었습니다.

방이 너무작았고 침대도 한사람이 움직이면 그진동이 옆사람에게 고스란히 전해저 밤새 잠을설쳤고 방은 너무덥고 답답해거 환기하려고 하니 창문옆에 옆건물 담벼락이 가로막혀 창문도 열수 없었음 와이파이 가 안돼서 공유기 확인하다 아답터 빠져있길래 끼울려고 냉장고 뒤 확인하고 너무 먼지가 많아 찝찝했음. 객실 예약할때 다른분들의 평점을 참고 해서 예약 했는데 호텔위치 친절함 빼곤 다른부분은 형편 없어서 담엔 이용 안하려고 합니다
