"Really recommend stopping here for a night when doing the journey through the fjords. It was lovely to stop in a small village and visit the Viking Village as well. The room we had was amazing, it was Viking themed and had a window to look at the stars (weather dependant!). The bed was extremely comfortable as well. We had dinner in the restraurant as well which was good value and lovely food and a nice fireplace for drinks after dinner. The only let down was breakfast as we went a bit later in the allocated time and there was very little choice, so recommend going earlier in the allocated time for breakfast. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend ."

"Lovely old hotel with lots of history which was beautiful to stay in. We had a loft room with a lovely bay window to look out across the town as the snow came down. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. The only area that could do with some love was the bathroom which felt a bit tired. Breakfast had lots of variety, including some traditional Norweigian options. Overall a lovely place to stay and I would recommend, it was also great to slow down on the journey from Oslo to Bergen and spend time in Flam "

"This was an excellent spur of the moment stop during our road trip through Norway. The rooms were clean and comfortable (heated bathroom floors were an added bonus). The staff were polite and amicable, provided excellent service and the breakfast was fantastic. Would recommend this hotel highly to anyone who needs a good place to stay for the night!"
