"A nice little wood framed hotel in Flam. Very pleasant with balconies. Really excellent breakfast and a fine bar/restaurant attached. The downside is that it is right next to the cruise boat dock, so be sure to request a mountain view, otherwise the "water" view on the other side of the building will be of the side of an enormous cruise boat, one after the other, all day, every day, at least in the summer. "

"Heidi – a true gem of this property! The service was excellent, especially thanks to the sweet lady Heidi, who was so wonderful. The room was clean and offered a picturesque view of the village. "The Gloppen Hotell is lovely in every way. The room was beautifully decorated, modern, spacious, and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The view from our window was priceless. We loved everything about this hotel. Breakfast was quite special. The selection of foods was vast, so beautifully displayed, and delicious. Everything about the Gloppen Hotell is grand!"

"A beautiful location on the fjord with stunning views, although very close to the ferry terminal. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself needed updating, especially the bedrooms, There are no other facilities within walking distance. "

"If you want to stay close to Flåm, this place is a gem. It’s only 20 minutes from flam & is easily accessible by ferry or bus. There are several dining options on or near the property. The scenery is beautiful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Also the breakfast bar is good and has everything. I would highly recommend."

"We have been traveling all over Norway and this was the nicest room yet. One issue was that the TV on the wall cannot pull out that you could see it from the bed. They tried but whoever designed it wasn’t that bright. The breakfast was OK and it bothers me when they keep running out of Items on the buffet. For example, eggs. I did like that. They did have decaf here. The elevator is fascinating. The room is not that quiet from the outside so if there is a party going on, you will hear it."
