"The room was cosy and spacious, the beds were comfy. Overall lovely room and lovely hotel, a bit dated but that reflects in the price and although could do with a revamp it was pristine. Breakfast was lovely, good coffee lots of options for English or continental breakfast lovers equally. We had dinner in the restaurant the first night and it was delicious. Good sized pool which again was a bit basic HOWEVER the spa was surprisingly nice! 2 different steam rooms, 2 different dry saunas, an ice room and jacuzzi plus swim outside pool. Well equipped gym as well. Absolute treat for the price cannot complain. We’ll visit again! "

"It was all good there - except for one thing. I could not find any electrical outlet to charge my devices on inside the room. "

"Room was basic, clean and had good connectivity. I stayed for 3 nights and slept well. The car park always had a space when I arrived back. Staff were very nice. The pub next door serves good quality food. I had the carvery which was very good. I only had a couple of cold items from the breakfast each morning the service was good and I could eat and get on my way quickly. "

"Used for overnight stay for gig in Manchester. Met by host on arrival which was good as instructions were to call the contact number before arrival. However, this was just an inaudible recorded message. Room was warm and clean with small kitchen area (tea andd milk provided but no coffee) and bathroom with shower."

"The smell of the rooms made one of my friends became sick. That’s how terrible it was. We didn’t check in we looked for another place immediately and left the place. Awaiting my refund. He said in 7 days. I hope he does something about the dump carpet and makes the place secure. I asked of a fire exit and he got angry. "

"There were no sockets either side of the bed. Very difficult if you have a CPAP or BiPAP breathing unit. "
