"Welcoming hotel"

"Stayed 3 nights at the Riverside Hotel in Sligo. June 2025. We really enjoyed our stay. We asked for a room with a view. Got it. We took several day trips, and returned every night to the bar at the Riverside. Great service from some very friendly kids. Great food! Kudos to the chef! Breakfast buffet also was very good. Parking is the only drawback. We parked at the church for only 2 euro overnight, a more than fair price. A mild inconvenience. we recommend this hotel! William & Susan"

"This hotel, is pretty well perfect, lovely rooms, friendly, helpful staff. Do not be put off by "lack" cooked breakfast. What is available is far better and excellent range, quality than so many other hotels. In a lovely convenient location, no corners cut. This is how it should be done."

"This is one of those rare, exquisite properties you don't think exist anymore. The proprietor met us at the front desk, showed us to our room, which was a great price and had AMAZING views. The breakfast is hot and to order from reserved tables. It is an exceptional property in a wonderful town. 10/10 would absolutely stay here again. We are considering planning another vacation specifically to this property. The only downside is parking. If possible, park across the street because the lot is very compact and sometimes hard to navigate. "
