I had a sea view Room and it was fantastic with a really good breakfast included every morning. The receptionist where very Professional and helpful Specially the blonde young girl who was kind enough to have breakfast to go for me at 3am in the morning before my flight ..That was Very kind of Her. Overall I will stay again at the Londoner.

Pros - room was clean and spacious. Requested view of valetta and got it. Was very nice. Breakfast included was decent. Cons - above a bar so 2 of the 4 nights it was loud til just past 11pm however. Unfortunately, theres construction next door that starts at 7AM. Also patio light goes on in the evening and cant turn it off. Suggest to get a room at the back and higher. I was on the 5th flloor. That bei g said it was okay cause i wanted to get up early and explore and inaleep late anyways....

Das Hotel liegt an der Hafenpromenade von Sliema. Man hat vielfältige Möglichkeiten an Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Man kann sowohl mit Bussen als auch Fähren/Schiffen Ausflüge machen. Auf jeden Fall sollte man nach Gozo und Comino fahren. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sauber und großzügig. Im Moment wird nebenan gebaut, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen.

Pro’s: The view was spectacular! The staff were friendly. Clean and spacious. Con’s : The deck furniture has seen better days. Our shower was missing one door and the water leaked through the base as well as splashing out onto the floor. The breakfast wasn’t that great. The bacon and sausage was very undercooked and the buffet setup needs work.

Ich hatte ein Executive Zimmer gebucht, ohne ein Wort dazu aber ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Nachdem ich es angesprochen habe, hieß es wie immer Upgrade. Ich wollte aber nicht 2 qm mehr und ein Sofa, sondern das helle, schöne Executive Zimmer mit zwei Fensterfronten und einem größeren Balkon ganz oben, das ich gebucht und bezahlt habe. Ließ sich dann natürlich auch nicht mehr ändern. Frühstück ist sehr einfach, der Frühstücksbereich wird abends zu einem Pub. Sehr laut und Baustelle daneben. Zimmer wurden jeden Tag sauber geputzt, Personal freundlich. Ausblick vom Balkon ist toll aufs Meer. Außer eine Seife am Waschbecken und in der Dusche gibt es keine Pflegeprodukte.

Das Hotel inkl. Personal war sehr gut und überaus freundlich. Leider war aber durch den Hotel Pub sowie die daneben liegenden Pubs eine starke Geräuschkulisse sowie sehr laute Musik bis spät in die Nacht sehr!! störend.

Great stay. Good location and staff very friendly and helpful, we had a problem with the aircon not switching off, but it was resolved as soon as we asked. Continental breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Only downside was the noise from the bar (we were on floor 3), didn’t bother us too much but was noticeable and went on quite late, so could bother others.

The room was fine. It was clean and well sized. We opted for the 'city view', on the 12th floor this meant you looked directly into a building site (the builders waved to us each morning when they started banging away at 7am), if you are on a lower floor the city view will be a wall. The hotel obviously cant control what construction work is going on around, but if I have stayed anyway before where construction work may impact you, there has been some kind of forewarning or acknowledgment that this may inconvenience you during your stay. There is a distinct aroma of sewage when you enter the lobby, which is 'cleverly' diaguised with copious amounts of highly fragrant air freshener. The location does overlook a harbour, but there is a very busy main road running along the whole strip. The location serves its purpose as a base to go and visit other places, but for the price, this hotel is just not worth it. Stay in Valletta.

This was our first visit to Malta and the Londoner Hotel perfectly matched our needs. The location is very convenient for getting to Valletta on the ferry and for the various cruises and tours available around the islands. The hotel itself is modern and clean. We had a harbour view room which had a lovely view across to Valletta from the balcony (exactly as per the pictures on the hotel website - though it probably helped we had a room on the 12th floor). The area around the hotel has plenty of bars and Restaraunts. Some can be a bit noisy but there are always alternatives. Otherwise it’s easy to pop across to Valletta for the evening where there are plenty of options. The Londoner itself has a bar and restaraunt which served decent food and drinks, as well as breakfast in the morning. All in all, the hotel was a great find and one we would use again if in Malta.
