"I stayed at the Room Mate Bruno Hotel in Rotterdam for five nights during my 2025 trip to the Netherlands, eager to reconnect with a friend and explore the city and beyond. The hotel proved to be the perfect base for my adventures; just a short walk from the iconic Erasmus Bridge and directly opposite the cruise terminal. Its prime location near Wilhelminaplein Metro/Tram station made getting around the city incredibly convenient. Plus, an Albert Heijn supermarket right behind the hotel made it easy to pick up essentials. Within walking distance, I enjoyed visiting the Fenix Museum, Fenix Food Factory, and exploring the vibrant bars and restaurants around Rijnhaven Harbour area. A major highlight was Foodhallen Rotterdam, directly connected to the hotel lobby; a spacious, industrial-style space offering a diverse array of food stalls. It’s a culinary haven in one lively spot, making dining both fun and effortless. The hotel itself is modern and well-maintained, with contemporary facilities. The lobby kiosk was a particularly thoughtful touch, adding to the convenience. My room (274) was spotless and furnished with a plush, comfortable bed that guaranteed restful nights. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return to Room Mate Bruno. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rotterdam!"

"Everything are nice. Except the bathroom floor . I believe it had been cleaned, , but the area in front of the commode with spots of urine stains , I bet no cleaner can wipe them off, it need a different floor covering material!!!!"

"Location location location! 10 minute walk from the central station, and a 20 minute walk to the cruise terminal! Perfect location for a short stay when getting on a cruise. Add to this a room that is comfy, a nice size and spotless clean. Comfy bed with nice linens, a modern spacious bathroom with a large shower and loads of hot water. Hotel was pretty damned impressive, then add the smiling faces of the friendly staff who were ever eager tor please. Our stay face exceeded our expectations! "

"The Hotel was close to the train station, across the street. We were trading through Europe by train so this made it very convenient. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful."

"Steep steps into the building, I ended up using the ramp. Check-in needed ID which I think could have been done via the app in advance. Enjoyed the room although some corridor noise, a second door from the hall or a better room door would have been good. If you are disturbed very much depends on the other guests. Some parts of the hotel looked unfinished but I think this might have been the 'look'. Bed comfortable enough. Restaurant downstairs was good service but average food. Not much in the immediate area but close to the Metro."
