The room was great, and we especially loved being able to get a call when the aurora borealis was out! Thanks to the hotel staff, we had the incredible experience of seeing the Northern lights right outside the hotel door.

Sel Hotel Mývatn
This was one of our favorite hotels we stayed at in Iceland. It is fully staffed with very helpful & knowledgeable. There is tons of parking as well. Across the street is a walkable path. At the hotel they have amazing wooden hottubs & sauna available. The food at the restaurant was great as well ...

This cabin is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Host/Team is very responsive in helping us with the check-in etc. Very functional home - easy to cook and wash up in the kitchen the Icelandic chocolate snack is a thoughtful touch.
