"We booked a family ensuite room at what we thought was a hostel for our one night in Queenstown not expecting much, and were very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable, clean, and just generally nice the room was. It happened to be the night that the World Cup semi final was on at 7 AM, but we couldn't get it on the TV in our room. The lovely lady at reception had no idea how to fix that, but found us another, empty room where we could watch the important game, which was absolutely above and beyond. Would return here in a heartbeat. (Also, even though we arrived about 10 PM, we were able to park almost right outside our room, in the height of ski season.)"

"Great location and easy walking distance to downtown. Car parking was good, unit nice and cosy. Comfy bed and lovely hot shower. Laundry facilities easy to use with washing powder supplied though you do need $1 or $2 coins to operate. We ended up staying at ABBA twice during our trip to Queenstown and would definitely stay again."
