「The newly renovated rooms were bright and comfortable. We didn’t have a chance to try the indoor pool, but it looked nice! The only complaint I have is that our reservation states free breakfast but the management said that was an error. They compromised by paying a portion of our breakfast. I think free breakfast would be a nice amenity since there is a restaurant on the premises. It also would be nice if they gave you an option of tea along with coffee in the rooms.」

「Chatham Bars Inn is undoubtedly in a prime location and has all of the ingredients to be a great hotel. However, we stayed recently in the main building and the room (whilst ok) was very average, it looked tired and in need of a refurbishment - the bed in particular was disappointing and very uncomfortable (I invite anyone at the hotel to take a look). We did visit end of season and so the lack of staff and atmosphere at the beach house area was understandable. In summary before visiting we felt...

「The lady who checked us in and the little reception room were lovely. Our room itself was a nice size and had a really comfortable bed and fairly new bathroom. The pool was heated to about 29^c so we braved it and had a good time. Our only issue was how easily we could hear next door. I’m sure they weren’t stomping about but the floors made it sound like they were in the room with us. Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed the location which meant we could get up and along the further ends of...
