「The hotel service is generally ok and breakfast is good. The only thing we found inconvenience is there is no shower room or enclosed area for bath or shower. We booked a room accommodation for 4 persons. There is a bathtub not far from the bed and there is no door or blind. Basically the room inside has no privacy for a group of 4 to stay. Fortunately, we only stayed 1 night and can take shower after we moved to the next hotel. 」

「The 2nd oldest Chalet in Portugal with so much charm. Staff is attentive and the property is clean and well maintained. Great location away from all the crowds yet close enough to everything. Midway between the city center and the beach Praia Grande..will definitely go back.」

「Amazing- room was fantastic with a nice little patio in the back over overseeing the ocean. Could not be nicer. Place to take walks in both directions. Room was very clean. Maria greeted us upon our arrival and was fantastic throughout our visit. Breakfast was amazing. Never had better scrambled eggs in my life. The manager also made two dinner reservations for us at very nice restaurants. Private parking, gated and safe. 」

「Quinta Velha’s a gem tucked in Sintra’s hills, about a 10-minute walk from Pena Palace and the village center. 「Very friendly staff 」

「Property overall was great! Room was spacious. Did not love that the gate to the property was left open several nights, in addition to our window being left wide open by the cleaning staff while we were gone all day. Was a little jarring to come home from being out to that with all of our belongings inside. Sheets were also not changed one of the nights when needed. Would still come back for another visit, but did want to call out the few things above.」
