"While my check-in at Kaaro Hotel was smooth, the rest of my stay was disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel for two main reasons: Water Issues: The hotel controls hot water access to the rooms. I was unable to get a hot shower after a long day, and more frustratingly, there was neither hot nor cold water available for my early morning excursion. "The 'muchachos' were very helpful and responsive to requests. They speak both English and Spanish. They organised taxis as needed, were very flexible to time of serving meals, and provided advice to seeing the sights. Rooms were clean the the place felt very comfortable and welcoming. The views of Puno and the lake were spectacular and you can walk on the property to see amazing views to the north and east. Wonderful for photography.
