Super quaint hotel within walking steps of the palazzo pubblico. We enjoyed Daniela and her husband’s hospitality as they manage 2 floors here. It’s a simple stay with the necessities you need for your time in Siena and what a great way to support a local couple. We’d recommend. There are lots of nice restaurants and shops nearby too.
Daniela is the perfect host. She promptly returned our messages and greeted us as soon as our taxi dropped us off. Checking in and out could not have been easier. Grazie mille!
I was directed to this property through Rick Steves lodging recommendation in his book on Italy. It is steps away from the city center with great restaurants nearby. The hostess was so nice. The room was very clean and decorated with antiques. I would stay at the Palazzo Masi again if visiting Siena.
This is certainly an extraordinary place. A centuries old Palazzo right in the Centre of Siena. From here you can explore every part of the town in walking distance. The location is simple but charming. And charming and most welcoming is also la Signora Daniela who is running the place! To be recommended if you like it nice and simple.
From the time we were welcomed by Daniela and Alizzardo, we felt part of the family and living in a home. Only five minutes from the Campo and the Duomo and yet in a quiet street away from tourist bustle. Huge room, elegantly appointed. Two flights of stairs to scale.
The hosts were so lovely and responded within moments of any inquiries. They helped me with luggage, restaurant reservations, and each day checked in to see if there was anything I needed. The location is perfect, the view from my lace curtained window charming. All you need & want is very close by. Easy taxi ride to & from the station (Daniella helped with that too!). If you want quiet, ask for a room in in the back, but I loved hearing all the Italian life outside my window! Can't wait to revisit!
Great location, but it is very confusing because the photo used for advertising is a museum it is not the place you are booking. Also it is not the kind of hotel we are use to book, it is difficult, because if you don’t get to the property on time for any reason, they leave and you have to wait outside with your suitcase and hot weather. Next time I will book a hotel with front desk.
But I need to say that it was cleaned and nice room, bathroom and great location!
Both hosts were exceptional. They assisted check-in times to suit our arrival and provided in depth knowledge about the city and Palio Di Siena. Definately made our trip to Siena all the more enjoyable.
The best location directly off the Campo with good restaurants within a few meters. Excellent communication and assistance. Very nice atmospheric rooms with street views. Would stay again.

Wonderful hosts. With suggestions for a great time. Available for all needs
Loved the location. One block to Campo and very close to Cathedral. Host Daniela was very helpful and a delight. Beautiful renovation of medieval building. Highly recommended. Will stay here when I come back!
We arrived here whilst on a road trip exploring Italy and Daniela and Alizzardo were incredibly helpful giving us directions for the local parking (Il Campo) which was a clean and safe underground car park (discounted by staying at the Palazzo Masi) after the short walk up we were greeted by Daniela calling our names from high above their amazing property ! We were welcomed as if we were family and taken in to an amazing historic building (there are stairs to climb if you are packing heavy). Daniela and Alizzardo welcomed us with great English and gave us maps and all the information about the local area and what we could get up,recommendations for great food right on the doorstep too!
This is also a PRIME property to stay for the Mille Miglia as the cars pass its front door !!! The room was super clean and had some antique furniture that complemented the whole experience. The view out of our window was breathtaking ,We wish we had stayed longer !

Muy bien situado
Muy bien situado. La propietaria encantadora. Es un Airbnb pero está muy bien. No tiene ascensor
Proprietari disponibili e gentilissimi. Stanza davvero bella situata nel pieno centro di Siena, a pochissimi metri da piazza del campo. Un servizio eccellente. Consiglio vivamente chiunque a soggiornare presso palazzo Masi
Palazzo Masi is a fabulous place to stay: It's a centuries old palazzo with lions-head door pulls yet all new fixtures where they count -- like in the bathroom. It's located on a peaceful street just a few buildings up from the Piazza del Campo. Daniela is both helpful and kind.
What a wonderful welcome. Daniela and Alizzardo greeted us on arrival, helped take our luggage up the stairs to our room, and gave us a formal sit down chat and friendly suggestions on things to do in Siena. The lodging is half a block from the central campo, so close to everything. The building is filled with history and on a narrow street of old buildings, like much of the central areas of Siena. Our room's windows looked down on the small street below and we felt we were truly part of the old town. On our departure, Daniela and Alizzardo again caught up with us to check on how our visit had gone and what we enjoyed. A real personal touch with a genuinely demonstrated interest to learn about who we were as people. Loved it.
The location of the hotel was great, Danielle and her son were waiting for us outside when we arrived and helped with our bags. The room was basic and functional which suited us as we were out a lot. Good advice on where bus services were and answered all our questions.
