A impressive stay

This hotel is amazingly far beyond my expectation,the price is perfect,stayed for three nights ,the staff are just friendly ,although it's a bit far from town centre but you can always get a tuk tuk for 2dollars from hotel. It's clean,quiet,well furnished ,and quite big. I definitely will recommend to everyone who goes to siem reap. You won't feel regretful

Extremely friendly staff. Handy TukTuk service!!

Thanks to Gloria Angkor Hotel, we had a great experience in Siem Reap!! The hotel looks not as big and grand as the others on the way to this hotel, so I did wonder why they have such a high score on Expedia and Tripadvisor. Then I understood and totally agreed with the others after my stay! The hotel provides breakfast and TukTuk service (free in the evening between hotel and Pub Street) so that you don't have to look for safe and trustworthy TukTuk on the street. To us, this is way too important in our trip...! Please don't forget to arrange by e-mail the free pick up from airport by TukTuk with the hotel. Just tell them time your flight arrives. The staff at reception are very nice, with warm greetings whenever you pass by the reception. A nice swimming pool is also available which is really great after a hot day to Angkor Wat. The room is not super big but very clean. Again, I really appreciate the TukTuk service as my other friends didn't have that in another hotel they stayed in.

蠻糟糕的一家酒店

這間酒店位置較偏遠，遠離市中心靠近舊市場，但因為晚上6~8點有嘟嘟車免費接送，還不錯。 但除此之外，其他沒甚麼好說的！在那邊住了6晚，有3晚的熱水供應不足，必須跟前台反映，抱怨吵架等到晚上11點之後才有熱水。如果你不介意洗冷水澡，那麼你可以考慮這間旅館！以下說說讓人氣憤的經驗。 第一次沒熱水洗澡時跟前台反映，前台的服務生等了30分鐘後才拿著工具先到房間扭開水龍頭好幾次後，才到房間外牆上的總開關那敲敲打打，又開又關，大約又30分鐘過去了，依然沒熱水，就算我是外行人，我也知道只是這樣不停的扭開水龍頭對解決問題一點幫助都沒有，但他似乎只會如此做，因此我們要求換房，服務生不願意，並且下樓到櫃檯假裝忙碌不再理我，因此我站在櫃台前繼續提出換房間的要求，大約又四十分鐘過去，到晚上約11點才終於有熱水。 最後一晚，也是沒熱水的情況，我們先打電話去反映，等了約一個小時到10點多，依然沒熱水，再打電話沒人接聽，於是親自下樓到櫃檯，卻發現服務人員(男性)正聽著音樂，他說現在大家都睡了，要第二天早上他才能提供熱水讓我們梳洗，並抱怨每天晚上我都去找他麻煩。我真不明白，難道我沒熱水洗澡還要忍氣吞聲嗎？ 你們能想像去外面玩了一天，流了滿身汗，卻不能舒服洗澡上床休息的感覺嗎？真是讓人非常憤怒，加上對方英文口音相當重，始終無法順利溝通，當下只能感覺非常無奈與無力。但卻在吵完架之後約11點時，有熱水了。說真的，這樣子的住宿經驗真是第一次碰到，總是吵完架之後就有熱水，讓人不經懷疑是不是因為沒給錢台小費的原因。但我也從沒聽說要給前台小費才能洗熱水澡的事情，每次整理房間我都按照慣例放了小費在房間裡的啊，而且就算放了小費，洗臉台上第二天打死的蚊子屍首依然陪伴我們到最後一天，真是讓人納悶！ 另外，除了聖誕節當天早上多了牛角麵包外，每天的早餐都是一模一樣的東西，可供選擇的東西非常少，而且有位男性服務人員竟然總是一早擺著臭臉對待每位客人！ 我一向對旅館要求很低，只要有熱水讓我洗澡，舒服的床鋪讓我休息，其他都好說。這也是我第一次上網批評一家旅館。如果你覺得以上都不是問題的話，你可以考慮訂這家旅館，因為嘟嘟車司機還不錯，出行OK！

This hotel is nowhere close to 3 stars standard: no elevator, the phone doesnt work, no floor mat in the bathroom, rings in toilet, low quality tower and holes and tears on tower, hole on pillow cover. Although the staffs was nice and try their best to accommodate me, I wouldn't recommend it

Excellent service and comfortable room

The staff in this hotel are very friendly, very hospitable, and service is beyond excellent. The room is spacious and clean. My room has lizards, though. The hotel provides tuktuk service for the guests, hence it is very convenient and safe to go out.

hotel curato, 2 pc a disposizione nella hall, wi fi gratuito, cassaforte, tv, prodotti da bagno inclusi, due bottigliette di acqua gratis al giorno, frigo, bollitore con caffè/the a disposizione, buona colazione, non eccessiva ma sufficiente, piscina pulita. Uniche pecche le scale per le camere (niente ascensore) e soprattutto la posizione scomoda, lontana dal centro lungo la strada per la capitale: l'hotel mette a disposizione la sola andata in tuk tuk per il centro dalle 18 alle 21, il ritorno è a carico degli ospiti a 3 $

no lift, staff are friendly but not helpful

The hotel is located on the main street. Tuk tuk available outside the hotel, cost $2 to $3 to night market. Staff are nice but not attain to the needs of the clients. Overall the hotel cleanliness needs to be improved. Shower curtain needs to wash, quiet dirty. Nice to have a pool but no sign to warn the clients about the depth especially children. No life guard, so swim at your own risk. No hand rail on the deep end, so beware. Not many varieties for breakfast.

It was okay.

The Good: -Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable -Nice quiet hotel -Free Tuk Tuk ride into town from 6-9pm The Bad: -Too far from pub street - (this is where you want to eat your dinner/lunches every day) -Breakfast was not nice at all -Staff spoke very poor English -Tuk Tuk driver actually works for free in evenings, as he is contracted to the hotel to do the arranged hotel tours if you book through them. This should have been communicated to us as we would have booked him instead of using the one that drove us from the bus depot.

Basic hotel that's a good value

The hotel is very basic but it meets all your needs. Pros: Cost Pool Welcome lemonade Friendly staff The restaurants menu Cons: The location leaves a bit to be desired Our room was poorly lit No elevator (not an issue for us but could be for someone with mobility issues) Breakfast is bare bones (ask for eggs, they are free but not put out at the buffet) Overall I would stay here again. For the price it is worth it.

Far from everything

Will be great if they kept promises on transportation since it's out of town and unless you do have transportation there is no way to go anywhere. No one picked me up from airport or send back to airport,I had to pay both ways. But other than that it's a really clean hotel and employees are very nice at all times.

What you pay is what you get

It is a modest hotel and the room is fairly comfortable. But the bathroom is nothing like what you see in the pictures. When you shower, water leaks on to the floor because of the way the tub is set up. Water all over the floor was not comfortable. Reception staff were fairly friendly and professional. But the restaurant staff were a bit serious and treating different individuals differently. Take your own shampoo, soap, etc. The ones provided by the hotel were of the lowest quality I have ever seen. Laundry was either not promptly done or not done at all on two of the three occasions. They just left them in the basket. Even after I booked the shuttle to the airport, they did not arrange. Someone kindly gave us a ride as we could not find a taxi. We made it just in time. In general, there seems to be a tendency all over Cambodia to exploit foreign tourists. I would not blame this hotel particularly, but could sense it. If you don't mind these issues, you can happily stay at this hotel.

Gloria Angkor Hotel

Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb. Aber dafür eine ruhigere Lage als direkt in Siem Reap. Mit dem Tuk-Tuk ist man in 5 bis 8 Minuten im Zentrum. Die Hin- und Rückfahrt wird vom Hotel übernommen. Rückfahrt nach 21 Uhr muss selbst organisiert werden. Fahrt kosten 2 bis 3 Dollar.

An sich ok. Nur der Check in war nicht der Hit und das Hotel liegt außerhalb von der Stadt. In der Umgebung gibt es nichts und man muss mit einem tuk tuk überall hinfahren. Ansonsten war es recht sauber und gut.

Hidden gem

Slightly out of the centre of Siem Reap but this means you get a better quality hotel with a pool at a more reasonable price. The hotel offers free drop off in the centre of town and then it is only $3 to get back to the hotel. The pool and outside area is great after a day sightseeing. The hotel staff are great at organising sightseeing trips/taxis/tuk tuks etc.

Great driver, Nolen!

I booked the hotel because they had airport shuttle from and BACK TO the airport, plus the picture of the pool. Never used the pool, but the hotel provides you with a tuk tuk, with your personal driver, Nolen in our case. What a great deal! There is a charge for his services to the ruins of about $15/day. It cost us only $60 for the 4 days. Ruins, butterfly farm, country side, restaurants, stores, massages, he ran us all over and waited while we were there, with cold bottles of water, when we returned. Tours and individual tuk tuk rides would have cost us well over $300-$400 and would have wasted considerable time and money. I gave Nolen a hefty tip! What a great deal! Driving slowly around in a tuk tuk is a great way to see, feel and smell the area. What a hidden gem!

Staff was very courteous and always ready to assist.The hotel is quite comfortable and provided free shuttle to airport. Breakfast was good.The bathroom was cleaned daily. The dining area and the lobby is good and clean. Overall, our 3 night stay was comfortable
