"The staff was very courteous & welcoming. We arrived late in the evening so it was a bit difficult to find yet overall an excellent stay. The room was spotless, smelled amazing & the bed was so comfy. The view from the balcony in the morning was breathtaking ! "I liked this little gem in Central Texas. I had seen it before when looking for a halfway point between Houston and Lubbock and came back to it over Thanksgiving break when I needed a place to stay to break up the trip. We had two small kids and dog and this was a great accommodation. We came in at night so we didn't really know what we were looking at and we could tell it was a nice place but it was just different at night. In the morning when I woke up and stepped out onto the porch of my cabin I thought wow this is really cool. My husba nd wished he could have played golf, he even had his golf clubs but we just didn't ha ve time. He thought it would be a great place for a weekend golf getaway with the guys, or the girls. "
