Chad offered some awesome recommendations for renting bicycles and getting around the lake to see the sights. Linda cooked an amazing breakfast for us each morning. "Wonderful place to stay near the Sun Moon Lake bus stop. The host Sonia was absolutely great. She helped us get situated and gave suggestions on what to do and where to eat. The breakfasts and afternoon teas were delicious works of art. Would definitely stay here again!"
"Had a great one night stay at water house. Friendly staff and they let me my bag pre check in and post check in so I could start sight seeing. I had already hired a bike but there is also one next door. 10 mins walk from a great sunrise spot too. Thanks for a lovely stay x"

"This was a great and relaxing place to stay. I was happy with the location and ambiance. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Would put this in my top 3 places to stay next time I return to Taichung. "
"Loved the room configuration. Comfortable bed and comforters. Clean. Easy check-in. Close to Whisker cafe. Staff were nice and easy to work with (just remember this isn't a 5-star hotel, so don't expect 5-star service). We enjoyed our stay.
Only con is the w/c could use more ventilation. It had a musty smell. Overall, the hotel room was very clean.

"We stayed in the Deluxe Family Room, which was perfect for the 4 of us because of its space (2 full beds, 2 showers) and adjacent TV room with a sofa. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet (Chinese food, fruits, pastries) and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The smart TV allows you to cast if you have streaming services overseas. The surrounding area has convenience stores but there is a need to ride a cab to major attractions or train station."
