"This property is pet friendly. I am not a pet person. There were several dogs, including one in the breakfast area. There was dog poop on the sidewalk outside one of the entries - it was there for the duration of our stay."

"The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The problem was that both staircases leading to the second level were literally dangerous. The wooden slats were soft, semi-rotten, and loose. They weren’t safe for anyone to walk up or down, especially carrying luggage. Fix the stairs and I’d stay there again!"

Yellowstone Valley Inn

Yellowstone Valley Inn

8/10 Good
"The cabin was alright. Had 2 beds, a microwave, mini fridge and a clean bathroom in working order. Overall, it was alright. Here’s what was not right. I was traveling alone so used only one of the two queen beds. However, the bed cover of the other bed was full of pet hair. Pets welcome doesn’t mean the next guest have to sleep in the pet hair of the previous one. Deadbolt of the door was broken. No maintenance person on property to fix such a small thing. Staff at the front desk said there’s no crime here and there was no effort in the next 3 days to fix it. The motel and the cabins have rooms with the same numbers. One day, the guy from front desk ran and opened my door saying I had an issue with my lock. I never complained that I could not open my door. The guy who had the actual issue was in the vicinity and the front desk guy was like you should have told us exactly which room had the problem. As if guests are supposed to know there were standard rooms and Cabins with the same numbers!!! If you are booking cabins, we aware that each cabins has two rooms. Soundproofing is almost non-existent. You could hear everything in the next room as loud as they could hear themselves. The location is great to go to both east yellowstone and cody. It was scenic as well. The convenience and the location partly compensates for the shortcomings."

"The rooms here are clean and spacious. The views are stunning. The staff super helpful and provided us with a snack bag which had a bottled water, mini muffins, granola bar and a banana. The walls are thin but I had a sounds matchine so no issue. The bathroom is tight and small. That’s the reason for the 4 star review. I would come back here without hesitation."
