「My issue with the hotel is it stated it could sleep 6, but could only sleep 5 uncomfortably at most. I had to check out immediately and go to the Holiday Inn next door. It felt reasonable to be given some sort of refund but I have received no response to multiple outreaches since the person at the desk was unable to help me since the owner was the only one who could. The room would have been fine for my wife and I, but I had four kids with me.」

「No locks on the first-floor sliding windows, the connecting doors were barely secure, and the main hallway door opened an inch even when locked. Additionally, the toilet had zero water pressure and took five minutes to flush each time. The only upsides were that it is close to Cedar Point, and we saw a baby seagull in the parking lot.」

「Check in took a while as there was only one person working. The room door was ajar when we got to it but the room was clean and fully stocked with towels and toiletry items.The only thing missing was sheets and blankets for the pull out twin mattress. There was a beautiful sunset to view from the resort. The food there was good and my granddaughter (4yrs) really had fun at the water park. It offered a good mix of age appropriate stuff. The bigger slides were shut down when we first got there but...

「The hotel was clean and the room had some nice amenities with the larger fridge and microwave. The air conditioning was wonderful and my view with the balcony was nice. However, I was in the West Tower and everything is in a different tower, including the front desk. None of the restaurants or gift shop took cash. There were machines to change cash into cards. 「Weird self-check-in arrangement--no reception desk or staff, just an e-mail with a code to let yourself in & out and a phone number in case you need anything--very impersonal, but o.k. if you don't like dealing with people. Fresh, tidy, and trendy inside. Bedside reading lights and a chair to sit on would be nice (stools at the counter are too high for tying shoes), as would a light outside the door that doesn't attract bugs. 「Breakfast was good however there is no where to eat so be prepared to carry it back to your room. Otherwise the rooms were updated and clean. TV small but good selection of channels. Bathroom and shower very good. Lots of clean towels. Will come back and recommend for anyone looking for a no fuss motel.」

「It took about 20 minutes of waiting for a staff member to come check us in for our stay. We pressed the button on the phone and called the hotel and finally someone came to the desk. The hotel was understaffed for the night and the employee seemed overwhelmed. She was very nice and pleasant when checking us in. No problems with our room at all. Breakfast was also fine. When we went to check out we had to press the call button again because the employee was not at the front desk.」
