"We visited with a large group, 18 people. Coco beach resort more than accommodated all of us. They made sure we had a great time! The pools were all awesome, with a lot of different ways to relax and play; something for everyone. Plenty of folks with kids here and other larger groups were all having a great time. We stayed one week. Ice and drinking water and coffee provided for rooms ;) Thank you!"
"We had an ocean front suite that was immaculate inside, just needs some door seals to prevent the on shore breeze mixing with the foul stench of sargasm, the workers worked hard every day trying to clear it all. We loved relaxing on the jetti on the loungers, shame they didn't have one section to fish off of, no fishing allowed on their jetti, although you could just stand in the sea if need, as its really shallow.
Food was excellent, i just wished they wouldn't light the fire pit when the wind was on shore, filled the restaurant with smoke.
house reef/snorkel was rather dull, recommend they take their guests somewhere slightly better. "
"I think you have to look at this place for what it is and what it isn’t. It was clean, well-maintained, comfortable, the AC wall unit worked well, the drinking water jug in room was convenient. Water was plenty hot in the shower. Included coffee for the coffee maker. On-site convenience store was as convenient as it gets for cold drinks and beers and snacks. The staff was warm and helpful with tips even for a quick chat when they were around and curious how my fishing trip was going. Couldn’t be closer to the madness of Secret Beach. If you are recreating on the east side of the island and want an affordable place to crash, I would recommend it. This is best suited for those that are out and about or maybe you want a wild day at secret beach and not worry about driving 45 minutes to your hotel on the other side of the island. I was here for a quick DIY fly fishing trip and it was perfect for me. If you want to watch movies, etc, bring a tablet or be prepared to stream on your phone. There are a couple bars just up the road that serve food and drinks long after everything in secret beach closes. It’s quiet after dark which I enjoyed. I only really spent time on site to sleep and unwind after being on the water all day.I would stay here again any time and felt it was perfect for the solo DIY fisherman! Thanks for the hospitality. Next time I’ll bring some friends and we’ll do a Cabana takeover!"
"My husband and I just returned from Tranquility Bay Resort, and we absolutely loved this place! It truly looks like a picture of a tropical paradise.
The accommodation was great. The AC was quiet and worked very well, and our villa was equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. We had our meals (breakfast and dinner) at the resort restaurant and found the food to be very good. The people working in the restaurant showed amazing hospitality and treated us like family.
My husband enjoyed fishing right in front of our cottage. All fishing gear and bait were provided by the resort. The sargassum didn’t affect us much—several people were cleaning the beach every day, and the ocean current at the resort carries the sargassum away and doesn’t let it accumulate.
We went snorkeling daily directly from the resort shore and were lucky to see an eagle ray, a stingray, and a nurse shark. However, some days were better than others, and on some days we didn’t see much.
We took two snorkeling excursions from the resort: to Shark Alley/Hol Chan and to Stingray City/Mexico Rocks. Both excursions were unique, and I highly recommend them. Thank you very much to Vincent and Leo, who made our experience so enjoyable."
"The staff is amazing, rooms amazing, and the vibe is amazing. I would definitely return. Restaurant is very good as well, pretty much farm/ocean to table. Highly recommend Captains dinner for an authentic Belizian experience and the avacado toast at breakfast! "
"When we got there the room was fresh and clean . Friendly staff , so helpful and very very attentive.. clean beach !
Felt very safe , when I woke up for the early sunrise on sea front . Very private and relaxed feel. Food and cocktails were delicious.. Had a very pleasant stay with my family. Definitely a place we would stay again. "
