"The area is surrounded by great places to eat and shop within walking distance while away from the massive crowds characteristic of other parts of the city. The breakfast was simple but outstanding and delicious. "

"Our stay at the Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyo was excellent from start to finish. The staff were welcoming, polite, and very helpful—they even refrigerated my medicine and ice packs for our return trip, which I really appreciated. They also delivered extra pillows to our room quickly with a smile.
The room was spotless with a perfect view right over Shibuya Crossing—an unforgettable sight at such a reasonable price. The size of the room (and the bed!) was just right for two adults, and we were very comfortable. The private bath was clean, stocked with earth-friendly products, and featured a bidet toilet. The water pressure in the shower was incredible—it could do it all, anything from watering a houseplant to power-washing a driveway, at whatever temperature you like, all at the turn of a knob. Towels were thick and absorbent, and thoughtful touches included a full-length mirror, two comfy chairs with a coffee table, a desk, small TV, and a fridge with a built-in thermometer—perfect for anyone who needs to monitor medicine storage.
Blackout curtains ensured a great night’s sleep, and the hotel itself is beautiful, with a nice restaurant and café inside. Right outside, there’s a great food market and a French pastry shop, and of course you’re right in the middle of everything Shibuya has to offer. There was even a free interactive ghost story attraction nearby—but I was too much of a scaredy cat to try it since one of the features was spooky sounds coming from all directions!"
"Location was incredibly close to konbini, restaurants and the train station. Less than a 10 minute train ride to Shinjuku station so it was very convenient to drop off our shopping and head out again for more! The in-suite laundry was amazingly helpful especially since we were travelling in the sweaty summer months. Loved how much space there was compared to the other hotels we've stayed at in the Shinjuku area. The only thing this property lacked was on site luggage storage after check out. They are however, able to receive luggage delivery on the day of check-in, for those who are planning to use luggage forwarding services. Would definitely stay here again."
"Very clean and very easy to travel from hotel to the Tokyo cities. The train stations are about a ten minute walk or less. The staff is very friendly as well! They have luggage storage services so you can adventure before check in and after check out! Highly recommend staying here. The surrounding area has a variety of thrift shops and restaurants."
