Staff was lovely and the rooms were large. 19 minute walk from Kyoto station.

The room was large enough for a family of six. The kids loved the bunk beds. The beds were comfortable. The location was great for visiting USJ. The staff were all very friendly and the buffet breakfast had a good selection for everyone to fuel up for a long day at the park. Our family enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay again when visiting USJ.

The 7th-generation daughter personally visited our room to introduce herself, sharing the history of her family, the inn, and the customs that have shaped Japanese hospitality for centuries. Her warmth and grace made the experience feel deeply personal and meaningful, connecting us not just to the place but to its living heritage. Every aspect of our stay reflected the highest level of service we have ever encountered. From the meticulous presentation of the kaiseki meals to the attentiveness of the staff anticipating every need, the experience was defined by quiet excellence and genuine care. The rooms, adorned with traditional tatami mats, shoji screens, and seasonal flower arrangements, offered a serene retreat that felt both luxurious and authentically Japanese.
