"Great hotel, nice comfortable room. Pleasant staff. Food was OK with a decent choice. Like most village hotels there is only one lift and it was out of order on this visit so everyone had to lug their cases up the stairs which is not ideal!"

"Love this hotel come a few times a year just for a quiet weekend away to unwind, good for shopping and eating over the road merry hill shopping centre. The breakfast is ok but used to be better as don't do mushrooms or blackpudding anymore which is amust have on a breakfast lol"

"A nice location, good quality rooms. Shame that there was no food and no bar. When everything is back to the way it was, it will be a lovely place to stay. I feel it just needs some work to bring it up to standard."

"Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was tasty and well presented. Breakfast was self serve and plenty of it. For the future to consider in the bedroom i noticed that the electric socket is a round 3 pin by the bed. It would be better for a update socket to be put in so it allows power leads for charging the ipads/computers/ telephone while in bed. Just a suggestion."

"Lovely little hotel ideal for Boscobal and RAF Cosford Museum. Rooms nice and large although a little tired. Staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble. Only issue was breakfast 1st day waited 30mins for poached eggs then forgot one order. Day 2 again waited 29min for poached eggs but there was a wedding otherwise we had a fabulous stay"
