While checking in at the executive lounge, we had wonderful assistance from Charlie, who is very enthusiastic and patient in taking care of customer's needs. Furthermore, Lynn has been very helpful in taking care of our needs and welcoming. Overall this has been a great trip and led to a happy stay for us. The hotel has been kept in a good condition in general and room was wonderful. A small recommendation is to ensure bedsheet/ blanket care . Great experience overall

Great value for money

Rooms were spacious, well-designed and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful even though we couldn’t speak Chinese. Breakfast was great, lots of different options even for vegetarians. Unfortunately the hotel does not have good sustainability. They offer plastic bottles in the room and there is no water fountain in the gym - again only plastic water bottles.

wonderful short stay!

wonderful hotel staff at JW Marriott and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. i left a note at time of booking saying that it is our honeymoon. although we only stayed for a night, hotel staff made it special for us by decorating the room and sending a cake to us. room was good size and clean, a little dim though. i believe it is conveniently located, getting deliveries was very easy as well. special thanks to Sue Su who was extremely kind and gave me a heatpack when we checked in.

In general we were satisfied with the customer service of hotel staff, they were nice and helpful. Bathroom and the quality of shower gel, shampoo were very good. However, the air-con of our room had problems which was not cool enough, hotel changed another room for us and got improved. But the facilities in the room had a bit problems such as tv channels and quality.

Room is clean and spacious. Location is good as it is near to the MTR. The only thing is that if you are taking line 11 then be prepared for a long walk inside the MTR station. Other than that it is only one station away from the high speed train station so quite convenient. The overall experience is good except the very last day when my mood got spoiled by a very rude staff in the hotel men’s room! The manager who handled my complain worked professionally so that made my overall experience better.

Will be back again Before I go on with my review, I want to specially say my thanks to: 1) Alisa cui in the Reception, 2) Cindy in the reception for letting me experience a 1st class Hospitality. Stayed three nights at the JW Marriott Shenzhen. Excellent Titanium membership recognition, being upgraded to their corner suite(best available room). Nice food spread at the executive lounge. Located in Futian CBD, the hotel is only a 5-minutes' walk from the metro and with easy access to many local amenities. The rooms are a bit tired but well kept, making us feel that rooms are well-appointed and designed in a humanistic way. All in all, the hotel is a delight in Shenzhen, Would definitely stay here again.
