This is a great service apartment that I ever stay for my short trip and enjoy the holiday like home and the location here is just nearby all the restaurant and attraction if you are looking for a stay like home with a living room and a small kictchen and this will be the right one for you.

Home from home
Birthday trip, bouquet of flowers and chocolates on the house. Quiet location. Breakfast could have been better - was disappointed with the selection available. Common areas of the hotel could also have been better decorated and pool changing rooms lacked management.

The only disappointment was the free breakfast was only for one despite booking for two. Other than that I couldn't fault the Hotel. The hotel is very clean, air conditioned, and the staff cannot do enough for you. Its a five minute walk to Sea World which is full of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and designer outlets. Sea World has a Metro Station, so the whole of Shenzhen is just a few stops away. And the main harbor is only one Metro stop from Sea World. I cant wait to return.

i was already been in the same hotel many times. the hotel is very close to shekou sea world and it is one of the best as quality of the room and general comfort in this area. what is very strange is that the level of the staff is not adequate to such kind of hotel. poor english, sometime unpleasant. another unclear point is the food for room service delivery : recently they don't offer dishes from hotel, but from external restaurants, what a pity that they have chosen the worst ones.

Resort type environment & top hotel comfort
I'm so much enjoy the quietness having a breakfast or lunch in a garden environment restaurant, either a buffet or a la carte. In the same atmosphere I can taste a fantastic Chinese cuisine in the evening in another garden under the star, is the most I would like to dip into for quality life. The style & cleanliness is the most I enjoyed. You'll have it all in this hotel. Besides, access to the "Ocean World" is in a walking distance, if you want some kind of entertainment or restaurants day & night. You can always find fantasy restaurants & places in the square for a drink in a bar. In case, you would want to go to Hong Kong & Macau from here, there's a ferry pier not too far from the hotel.

Hotel was great ! Everything was in tip top condition . No flaw at all ! Very satisfied overall ! Breakfast was cheap and good too ! Located on a hill but a 10 mins walk to sea world station . Very nice privacy ! Absolutely good !

Best hotel in Shekou

Really enjoyed the clean room and free wifi. However, location is a bit out of the center of Futian or even Nanshan. Good if you plan to take a ferry to HK Airport. Bad for anywhere else. Taxi wait is longer than normal. For those who like to excercise or run. Perfect since the hotel is located in a very lush green area with a major park.

No Better Choice in Shenzhen
I have stayed at this hotel for three times. The one-bedroom apartment is always my choice which is ideal for short or long stay in Nanshan District. The room equipped all we need including high standard of cooking and AV facilities. Although it opened for a couple of years, the decoration and room are still in excellent condition. You can’t see much serious deterioration in furniture and amenities. The overall environment is peaceful and comfortable. Therefore, this is always the best accommodation in Shenzhen.

Fantastic apartment living
A fantastic apartment style room complete with a kitchen, living room and 2 seperate bedrooms (one complete with on-suite bathroom). The location of the hotel is remote yet very secluded and private. It is about a 10 minute taxi ride from the Shenzhen ferry terminal. Getting a taxi is not easy but if you ask the front desk they will get one for you and it will take a few minutes but not inconvenient. The front desk employees do speak english well enough to communicate with so that is not a problem. Within a 10 minute walk you will find a nice area with many restaurants and clubs and a Metro (subway) station and if you wanted to cook in the room there is a Park and Shop nearby. We visited the Shenzhen area to go to Happy Valley amusement park and it was a 25 minute ride by taxi (or they say the Metro will get you there in 45 minutes). Overall this hotel was a pleasant surprise and I will definately stay again on my next visit to Shenzhen.

BEST hotel in Shenzhen and can say even China!
I stayed in this hotel yesterday August 24 for a night with boyfriend, it was amazing. this hotel was the best i have ever stayed in shenzhen. I am a frequent traveler to shenzhen and this hotel is very modern new and clean. not those china typed of room. the service was good and we had this room service catering. the catering room service in china is usually order from restaurant nearby the hotel and they will deliver to your room. We tried this indian food which was amazing and waited just 20 mins. rmb to try the indian food the curries was so good and they serve cold chilled corona! the hotel price is consider a little expensive in china but this worth the price!!! the only thing is it is about 15 mins walking distance to the town center nearby and it will be very dark to walk at night time. there is a bar street in the town centre which is so good and many nice food! i would recommend the malaysian and thai food there!!! stay in this hotel and you will nvr regret it! no bed bug!!! clean bathtub and toilet!!! nice plasma tv and you can enjoy watching football!!! you can take the ferry to hong kong or macau just one stop away on the train shekou port station.

Our stay at Ascott maillen hotel in Shenzen is such a pleasant stay. This is a superb service residence. Facilities in the unit is very complete including complete kitchen facilities and washing machine. We really feel at home. The hotel also has a nice club that includes complete fitness center, sauna and steam, swimming pool and kids pool. The hotel is quite close to sea world MRT station abiut 10 minutes walk. Lots of restaurant in the sea world area. The hotel also has chinese, seafood and italian restaurant, which we think is very good. Overall we strongly recommend this hotel.

Good spacious one in Nanshan
the description says that all room has kitchen and washer. However, they assign me room without it. I showed them the description and eventually moved to one bedroom. The hotel service was nice. Close to Sheko Ferry station to go to Macau. Will stay again!

Attention this Hotel is an fake hotel
WARNING Attentinon if you sort for example an hotel closed to the airport in Hongkong you will find this hotel. But this hotel is in China and not closed to the airport. For sure if you book it is not possible to chancel the reservation. so therefore this hotel earns a lot of money with bookings but no customers will come !!!!

地點不便，行去海上世界要15分鐘，公寓游泳池要求帶泳帽先可游泳，游泳員工叫我們到櫃檯借手泳帽，去到櫃檯員工話公寓只有六頂泳帽租借，所以我們一家只能回房，小朋友非常失望

Spacious, well-equipped room; great staff
I have originally booked a one-bedroom apartment with an extra bed (as there are three of us). When I remind the hotel staff that an extra bed would be required when we check in at the hotel, she informed us that the room might be "too small" to accommodate the three of us and after a while, she joyfully told us that a two-bedroom apartment has been arranged for us without any extra charge! We were so surprised by the free upgrade! The two-bedroom apartment was very spacious (with two bathrooms) and well-equipped (the kitchenware there was even more than what I have at my own home). The hotel was generous enough to provide L'occitane amenities, and the room was nicely designed (almost identical to the photos on booking websites). There is a wide range of TV channels available (there are one TV in the living room and each of the bedrooms) and you can even access FB/ Instagram using the WiFi at the hotel. There are a night club and a decent Chinese restaurant near the main entrance of the hotel. And there is a wide range of restaurants at "Sea World" nearby. One slight downside about the hotel is that it's not super close to the nearby MRT station. You will need to walk up along Gongye 3rd Rd, then turn left along Yanshan Rd (the entire path was poorly lit at night) to get to the hotel. It's not a long way but it might be tricky for those who aren't familiar with the neighbourhood to get to the hotel the first time.

Great place.
It was my first trip to Shenzhen, and what a great choice I made for a hotel. I've stayed in several Ascots but this is my favorite. The room was perfect size room and very clean. I especially liked the low beds. Restaurant was an average Ascot buffet, but sadly service staff were not good. The thing I liked about this hotel was the location. It's on a hill and seem a bit apart from the city, yet there is a huge restaurant & bar street at the east which only takes around 5 minutes walk. The place is fantastic and I would love to stay at this hotel again.
