Everything was great, excepting the ice-covered parking lot. Very dangerous to walk on.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was nice and complimentary breakfast was very yummy with lots of choices.

We could not believe what a charming, relaxing, beautiful place this was. Dale and Judy were perfect hosts who shared their knowledge of farm life, barn collections & antiques. Judy is a fantastic cook who serves food with flare on different dishes every day. Each room was decorated differently. We stayed in the Roost. We didn't want to leave. Photo books in the room tell stories of 15 years of B&B hosting and Dale and Judy are willing to share their own personal stories as well. And of...

Excellent hotel. Be aware that if you’re staying on a Sunday there are very limited options for restaurants/bars in downtown Mason City.

Incredible stay. I know it said bed and breakfast but we were blown away by the breakfast and treats that were in a jar by the entrance. Given that it is an old house I was nervous about the cold but it was cozy and warm. Not too hot at all. My only negative is regarding how quiet it is, I felt like I had to whisper in the room because I didn’t want to disturb the peacefulness. If you want a calm, relaxing stay with great food and beautiful architecture, this is the place to be. It was an...

Excellent property. A/c. Little loud but checking staff awesome view awesome. Very nice.

Staff was awesome considering it was a packed hotel and she was very overworked. Very clean and comfortable room. This place never disappoints and we will continue to stay when we come to town.

The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean. Hotel attached to a great restuarant which had great food/service.

Very nice place Staff is very nice!

It was zero degrees outside and the wind was blowing 40 mph. Inside my room it was toasty warm, I slept on a new mattress and the waterpix showerhead had plenty of water pressure to work wonders on my muscles. All in all a wonderful weekend at a great rate. I will return when I want a wonderful time in Mason City.

Hotel worked well for me. Great rate, very good accommodation, clean and comfortable.

I'm a law student, and I had to do some legal research in the Mason City, IA area. I had a great stay at this motel in January, so I made it a point to stay here again when I returned to the area in March. This motel has a different feel than other Super 8s, which is nice! If and when I go back to the Mason City area, this is the place I'll stay yet again! The price is right, and I love the ambiance!
