Not the newest hotel but nice and clean. The only problem was that the personal don’t speak so good English or don’t speak it at all. Sometimes it was very hard to get some information. The staff isn’t so friendly.

The location is excellent and overall the hotel is good. There are a few things could be improved. We stayed for 2 weeks and did get bored for the same/similar breakfast everyday. We have been to many hotels worldwide, but this is the only one does not have a sitting area in the large reception area.

We tried a special tea provided by the hotel. The next day when we came back, we found two such teabags with a note from the cleaning lady: I noticed that you like this tea, so I left two here. If you like to have more, please let me know. What a lovely note!

Stayed in Shanghai many times over the years and in different hotels. The Jin Jiang has definitely been the best for both location / convenience and overall hotel experience. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommended.

For the price, experice is ok!
Over is ok for the price. Service was just ok. When we arrived to our room there was mildew smell. Housekeeping came and sprayer freshener and was fine. Fixtures are dated and old. They have a revolving restaurant. Food is expensive. Views are spectacular! Service its not up to standard for the prices they want to charge. There are other options out there.

I love the location of Jin Jiang Tower hotel. It is so close to Huihai road, and line 13 is literally cross the street. We can easily find lots of food options close by.

The hotel has not been refurbished for long time but general condition was good and staff were friendly. It was more like a 4 stars hotel but the price was quite good for value. The pool and spa area were clean and nice. Staff were helpful. Good location with mero line 13 just cross the road. Many restaurants nearby. Recently renovated restaurant on the 41th floor has amazing city views that you can enjoy with lunch and dinner. Surrounding was a safe area that was traditionally a good place for shopping and living. I liked it.

The overall experience was good except that their lobby cafe did not take any orders for lunch except for sandwiches and drinks and one will have to pre- book the meal via internet and be served there. However, the Revolving Restaurant on the 41st floor was excellent.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, with a subway station conveniently located across the street, making travel to the airport, train stations, and other tourist attractions a breeze. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable, albeit a bit too soft for my personal preference. However, the hotel itself is slightly outdated. While the lobby still exudes a 4-5 star feel, the furnishings in my room showed noticeable wear and tear. The bathroom, in particular, was in need of a refresh or renovation, with the chrome faucet looking dull, the countertop stained and cracked, and the silicon caulk around the under-mount sink blackened. Although not visible from the sink, when sitting on the toilet, the caulk's discoloration was noticeable. While some might argue that furniture wear and tear adds to the hotel's history, the bathroom's state leaves no excuse for neglect. A simple replacement of the countertop, sink, and faucet would quickly remedy the issue.

Located one block off Huaihai Rd, the “Madison Ave” of Shanghai, where one could find famous food stores, restaurants, as well as boutiques. While the interior decor is a bit dated, it is well managed in general. Staff are friendly. Daily room cleaning. Hotel restaurants are open to public, so you will often see diners sharing elevators with hotel guests.

Hotel provided us smooth late check-in past midnight. The room was gorgeous with living room-like comfort space and even business desk with PC. Very spacious and room amenities(TV, water boiler) were all functional. Better if closer to subway station.

Hotel staff were helpful & easy to communicate in English. Overall my stay at the hotel for my business trip was good & hope to stay again in the future. Note: It will be good to have vegetarian food on the hotel menu.

This hotel was broken down and unsafe. The room door lock was loose off the hinges. The bathroom floor mat had blood stains on it, the tube mat was mold and in between the cracks of the shower wall. The shower tube was about 3 feet off the ground, which makes it hard for older people, kids, and short people to enter the shower tube. I do not recommend this horrible, dirty hotel.

Was given a free update to room in level 38. Cleanliness is super, items are replenished daily. Room is huge and has a fresh look. Fully carpeted, right from the moment out from lift and even the whole room! Only 1 rules that i am not used to, is CNY500 deposit per night, not per stay.
