Location is ok, but all the facility are not good and a little bit dirty on desk or chair, also you can head someone keep making noise and the wind is also very Josie, over all it’s not worth to spend money on this property

The room was large and spacious, plenty of closet room, and easy Internet access. The large sized bed was firm and there was both a shower area and a bath.

Loved the well appointed and clean rooms. The morning breakfast was also varied with local Chinese cuisine and the usual continental items. Staff went out of their way to assist us whenever engaged. All in all a great option for Shanghai at a reasonable price.

front desk bad
service is nowhere near good, especially terrible the front desk. staff need a lot of training although housekeeping is good & they are trying hard to make the guest comfortable, especially when rooms still have that plastic smell 2 years after the opening... they set up the air purifier in the room for the smell. wont recommend this hyatt hotel

The only unpleasant event was the breakfast . We were offered cold and hard bread with one thin slice of butter .

Facility is relatively new, clean and comfortable. It is next to a big mall which includes a lot of shops and restaurants. It is a bit expensive compared to the others, but worth it. Service is excellent, the lobby staff is very helpful and courteous. Only shortcoming is that the hotel is far away from major attractions in Shanghai.

Lucky to get a room around 12 pm, although floor has some nuts residuals. But overall, the bathroom and bed are very clean. Bath tab too small though.

High quality new hotel in a good location.
Brand new hotel of typical quality standard of Hyatt. It's in a great location connecting to Global harbour shopping centre and cross road to a subway station. Very happy with my stay in this hotel.

Would not recommend this hotel
1. Rooms - The hotel is located bedside the mass rapid train track and with constant noise coming to the room. I have to change my room 2 times to reduce the noise and resolve issue that the room does not come with working desk for business traveler. 2. Food - The rest. food is bad and do not order their egg benedict! 3. Services - The housekeeping services very bad. I asked for water or bath towels , it took long time and I need to call them again to deliver them. I needed help to open a can of milk, the staff came after we called 2 times and waited for 1 hour but the did not open the can. Instead she said she will asked the kitchen to help but no one came to help us. Asked for conceige to help with lugguages and again took a long time that I eventually did it myself. 4. late check out - As a member of Hyatt, I was told I can have late check out to 2pm but on the last day told that I must check out at 12pm. I would consider other hotel chains in my future travels which provide late checkout as member benefits.

Decent hotel close To shopping. Hotel does need to get better at ordering taxi for Customers. They don't have taxi waiting on site like other hotels. Could also offer more western dishes on menu especially on late room service menu.

Surprisingly Primitive Hyatt in Shanghai
Booked the hotel because it's near Hongqiao airport & Jiading area where I am visiting, and it's new. While all were true, the scathing review of this property turns out to be equally true, and cannot make up for its advantages. The broken AC in 2nd night can be forgiven as a rare exception. But the room service breakfast, and (on second day) the Regency Club were shocking! While most hotels bewilder me with huge array of choices, this hotel has the smallest menu in the world, and smallest portion of yogurt I've ever seen of any hotel. The Regency Club & its food looks like a movie set. Looks OK, but most were not edible. When I asked for regular coffee because the expresso coffee was unacceptably bitter, they actually charged me for the coffee. YES! NO JOKE! The condescending attitude of the staff there was laughable because they had no idea what they were doing ... I think they forgot Global Harbor really isn't downtown Shanghai ... 5KM seems like 500 miles ...

A very pleasant stay!!
Overall a very good experience, close to mtr and line No13 is a very convenient to take you to the city centre. Hotel within Global Harbour Mall is superb with some good restaurants and a supermarket. Would highly recommend !
