「Beautiful hotel in rural setting. Owner Miguel reserved our Acoura 516 bridge tickets as our international charge card was not accepted. The continental buffet breakfast was delicious and freshly served. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evening which Miguel started each evening. If we return to the area to hike we will definitely stay here again. It was impressively clean and staff (his family :) friendly. 」

Le seul problème est la localisation sur le site Expedia qui est erronée et cela nous a occasionné un perte de temps d'au moins 1 1/2 heures - nous avons dû communiquer avec l'hébergement qui nous ont fait parvenir le bon lien par internet. L'hébergement est dans les faits à proximité de Tondela, dans la ville de Tonda. Nous recommandons l'endroit sans réserve mais assurez-vous d'avoir la bonne adresse....

「We received a very warm welcome from the owners, even though we arrived later than planned. We were able to enjoy a toasted sandwich in the peaceful garden. The house itself has been beautifully renovated, and the rooms are decorated with great care, maintaining the old style yet offering all the modern conveniences. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh rolls, homemade jam, and lemonade. A place to return to!」

「Complicated self check-in with several security codes. No one on site to assist. Local phone number not helpful for international travelers. Worst is the smell of the rooms... musty, basement rooms... left window open, blew fan AC all night which made it slightly better. Would NOT recommend. 」
