Wuksachi is practically the only hôtel located inside the (very large) Sequoia National Park. It's the reason why you pay about 400$ per night, which is the price of a 5 star palace with breakfast, spa and wellness ! Instead, you get a quite basic comfort (no A/C, just a twin fan mounted in your window)
We were in Sequoia Park 30 years ago, and stayed in the wooden cabins which have now completely disappeared, but were located in the heart of the sequoia giant forest.
From Wuksachi, be prepared to take your car (or walk 52 minutes) to get to the Lodgepole services and see your first giant trees.
In summary : far much too expensive for what you get.
