The staff were friendly and helpful, It had everything I needed for my stay. Breakfast was fairly basic - cereals, toast,, ham, cheese, spreads, boiled egg, juice and coffee - but very much what I'd have at home so no issues there.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Star Hostel Suite. From arriving to leaving the staff was very kind and helpful. The location is super convenient. We would stay here again when visiting Korea again. Thank you so much! Also the free breakfast is a nice touch. It is a very simple set up, but good and does the job.

Perfect location

Nicky the night manager was super friendly and helpful! Location was excellent and I was able to walk to all the sites. Hostel is a good price for budget minded travelers. Day manger was also very kind and welcoming!

Everything was perfect! Went to the wrong hotel first since I think that there is one hotel and a hostel under the same name. You get a free water purifier, free breakfast and the manager was the best. Spoke perfect English as well and was so kind. The room was really clean !

Good for the price.

For the price this hostel, private room, was good. Just note room cleaning is every 4 days but you have towels and amenities available nearby. Location is excellent. Breakfast is simple, free and sufficient. Bed was not great but sufficient.

this place is for young travellers to stay a few days. I am an older person for long stay for that reason I made wrong choice. Mr. Ham is one of the staff who assisted me to make my stay in Seoul possible. Also encountered extremely rude staff who had no respect for older people.

My friend and I stayed at this budget-friendly hostel in Dongdaemun, and it offered a great experience overall. The location was quite convenient—a 4-minute walk to the Airport Bus stop and even closer to a subway station, with another station about 8 minutes away. The area had plenty of great food, shopping, and pharmacies nearby, plus a market just across the property. While the entrance is located in an alley and there are a few bars nearby, it was generally quiet and felt safe. Our room was spacious and included a personal fridge, which was a nice bonus! The room was clean, although the building showed its age, which was reflected in some of the room’s features. One thing to note is that the restroom is a wet room, so the toilet, sink, and shower aren’t separated by walls or a door. The basement level had a communal kitchen with breakfast and filtered water, which I really appreciated. Lastly, the staff were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They even allowed us to store our luggage while we traveled to Japan, making our experience that much more comfortable.

駅近、カンジャン市場も東大門も近くロケーションはとても良いです。ホテル前の路地は怪しい雰囲気で夜遅く歩くのは避けようかなとは思いました。近くのCUは品揃え豊富。 お部屋は価格相応の設備。部屋で食事ができませんので地下の共用ラウンジを利用しました。朝は簡単な朝食があります。 フロントのお兄さんが親切でそれが良かった。節約旅行ではリピするかも。
