I thought it was a fine establishment but the wear and tear of the facility is very apparent. The lobby smelled like the inside of a just cleaned American bathroom with still a slight hint of urine. I was none too pleased with that part but the room was clean, cleaning staff was great, all necessities were in the room, and the area the hotel is in was great. I especially appreciated that the train is right in front of the hotel as well. If you’re curious about the breakfast, it’s fine if it’s free and included with your room but not worth spending money on.

Rooms are super small. The subway station is not a main one so very inconvenient to get anywhere. We ended up taking a taxi everywhere. The hotel location is right in the center of an extremely busy intersection which made it difficult for the cabs to stop.

Great hotel. Staff were very helpful. Good breakfast. The only issue was that we can only book a single breakfast online booking. We need to pay the 2rd daily. Not big issue though.

While the hotel itself was fine and the room was clean and comfortable, I ran into a situation with the hotel where items in my room were mistakenly removed during cleaning and they were unable to find all of the items that were discarded - I lost pajamas, personal slippers brought from home and my undergarments. The staff were quick to take control of the situation and kept me updated on the situation, reviewed CCTV footage to determine what happened and did try to compensate for the missing items. I still don't know the full situation as to HOW this even happened but I do appreciate that they tried to resolve it and were communicative throughout the process.

First time in Seoul and I blindly trusted the Expedia reviews, however I'm glad I did. The location is conveniently located, a bit long but totally manageable walking distance to the south /honoring of priperty gate and Seoul station. The room is on the small side but very clean. The breakfast is one of the most elaborated in any hotel chain with both Asian and western options, some are healthy as well. I booked higher floor and view was wonderful. There are two suggestions/recommendations: 1. The duvet could be much thinner for the heating setting, it can be unbearable hot for some guests. I was very lucky the reception went out of her way to find a thin blanket for me. 2. The electric outlet were weird, they force pop out the plug I brought, I had to get creative to keep the plug inside the sockets. All in all, highly recommend!

All the staff has a smile and friendly. Our room on high floor has nice view of the city and the mountains. Breakfast buffet is not bad. The hotel has many dining options nearby. It’s within walking distance to Seoul Station.

An amazing location above the subway station for travellers, was a great home base for our week-long trip. The view was great and the hotel is walking distance to a bunch of palaces and museums. Check-in and out was very easy, the lobby was very welcoming, and the buffet breakfast was quite good. Housekeeping lady was absolutely lovely. Felt like a safe area with convenient restaurants and convenience stores about. We would definitely recommend it for your stay in Seoul!

OK finishing, charging sockets didn’t work
I think the finishing passes, but a few things that were unexpected & were unpleasant were: 1) none of the sockets worked in my room except for the one that required a converter. And when I borrowed a converter, while it worked in the end, the converter’s socket was loose too and I had to use something to prop up my chargers. In this day and age, not having USB sockets is just below par; 2) the windows were open for some reason (either broken or the housekeeping left it open, which doesn’t make sense since it’s -2 degrees C out); 3) didn’t replenish my bath wash until I asked them to, which is ridiculous because the bath wash is tiny. Service was relatively good though. Other negative stuff that I didn’t like was the room was small, but that was expected, so I did not factor this in when thinking about my overall rating. The charging sockets thing is just shocking since charging our electronics should be a staple in this day and age.
