It's great value. Clean. Private room. There's no one at the front desk until later in the afternoon, so don't lock yourself out of the room early on a Sunday morning.

Cheap place to stay. They didn't have the double bed we reserved so put in a twin room. Hot rooms no A/C. Toilets and shower are in the same small room so needs cleaning frequently which does not seem to happen. Kitchen is alright nothing special. Found used floss sticks on the desk upon entry to the room as well which questioned the cleanliness. Good location, close to metro and markets.

Honestly, I don't even know if this place breaches and safety violations seeing how filthy it is. The filth is very evident in all the molds on the wall/floor/bedsheet/furniture/bathroom and stench. I understand that this is a budget hostel but it's very rundown and I was questioning the whole time if this place can pass living condition inspections. I wouldn't recommend this place. Either find somewhere else or top up a bit of money and get a cheap hotel.

This place is definitely cheap which is great, but the building is a little rundown and the bathrooms were very unkept.

The location is convenient, close to underground. Around 15 mins if walking to Dongdaemun. The room especially the toilet is smelly even not in use for a day.

It was a short but amazing. The room was being upgraded as the reservation was overlapped with other guest. Great job!

The room was clean and simple, the owner was very kind and helpful and the other guests were pleasant. However the provided breakfast during our stay was very scarce, only toast and jam.

Hostel Korea
The area that this Hostel is located in is very convenient. You are close to Dangdaemun Shopping mall, Dongmyo Station, Imperial Palace, local food shops, and much more. Beds are comfortable and overall clean. Bathrooms are a little sketchy, but this place is such a great deal! So cheap. Highly recommend for anyone staying a week or less or just looking to save a lot of money. Helpful and nice service as well!

On the most part it was clean and the bedroom was good. We went to check in from 1 pm as hotels.com said but they said this was wrong and it's from 3pm so we had to wait over an hour in their cold outdoor common area. The shower and toilet is also one room which was very strange and not a good arrangement for use. The shared kitchen area was small and dirty.

Convenient hotel
Close to subway station Friendly staff will guide you. The rooms are cozy and warm. It is convenient to have a convenience store nearby. I always want to use it when I come to Seoul.

Great hostel for the price
Friendly and helpful staff, room was rather small but was as expected for a hostel. I would recommend it for students or anyone else on a budget to give it a try. Way better than most other hostels I have lived in across Asia.

I stay in two bed with shower room . The room in 3 floor but Staff helped me to carry my big luggage to the room. No air condition or heater in the room .

Nothing to fault as a solo backpacker, being able to wash your laundry and to have a drying rack was amazing. The staff were really pleasant too:)

Great location
The hostel is very near between 2 subway stations (Dongmyo & Sinseoldong) so it gave me more flexibility in taking public transport. Just beware that there is another Hostel Korea nearby (it is tricky to find the place at first). Overall I had a pleasant stay.

provides everything you need!!! nice breakfast!
I arrived at freezing night so it was a bit hard to find the hostel. it provides all facilities you need like dryer washing machine kitchen etc. staff was very nice.

Good Stay
Receptionist was very friendly. The location was very clean. The bed was a bit too hard for my taste. But overall my stay was very pleasant. The breakfast was good especially the grape juice. Wifi worked fine.

I want to say thanks to the staff in the hostel (especially the guy here). I am surprised by how he provided excellent service and assistance for me. I arrived the hostel very late at night and asked for food recommendation, instead of just tell me the direction, he showed me the way himself and even helped me order for food. He also helped me to book the ferry ticket online (which the website is totally in Korean).

First of all, the hostel stuffs are very friendly, kind and trustworthy. We felt safe all the time during stay. Ppl staying this hostel are also friendly and quiet, so that we can easily start chatting, taking photos with them.

Cheap Hostel for travelers to stay.
Over all, it was a good place to stay. However, the condition of the hostel wasn't meeting my expectations. AC was controlled by the staffs and they turn it off from morning till 5pm.(It is extreamly humid and hot during summer in Korea) The bathrooms were too humid due to poor ventilation.

Good cheap place to near the subway. The A/C is control by the manager (central). There have work need to be done. The sink in kitchen is in maintenance for more that 1 month. The bed is lift by a stack of book. But still it's a good place to stay at good price.

Relative low room rate and it has good location. You can walk to Dongdaemun Market in 15 mins. I stayed this hostel in 2014 and come back again in 2016. To compare with that in 2014, the hostel facilities and services made me disappointing this year. The water tap and sink in kitchen are out of order. It seems that the hostel has no intention to fix them. I have stayed here for 6 days but they are still be out of order when I left. In 2014, hostel provided clean towels and rice but it has no longer to provide them. Anyway, as the room rate is relatively cheap with good location, you cannot ask for more.

Lovely place to stay at!
Super friendly staff who aided us in booking of tickets for JUMP! Performance, and assisted us in getting more information and trying to help us in all the ways possible! They allowed us to store our luggage with them when we reached before check-in time and they locked the luggages up in a room where there was minimal movement! Overall a super good environment to stay in and I would love to come back here again!

Super cheap and pretty clean. The three bed rooms were good to avoid crowded hostels with 8 or 12 beds in them. Only complaints are that the bathrooms were tiny and the whole place was kind of cold (temperature wise)

Very basic hostel. Not very clean. Linen and towels not included. Breakfast is toast with peanut butter and jam and bad coffee. It was one of the cheapest we found, and for the price it was bearable for a few days, but there are better hostels and motels for the price.

Nice place and good location
I stayed there for a week and it was a really enjoyable time. My room was cool all the time due to the AC which was great during the summer heat, and it came with a fan for when the AC was off. It was just the right size and was perfectly comfortable. There was a free washing machine, also good for when you sweat into your clothes. The wifi connection was great and the location was near two metro stations so it was really easy to get about Seoul. Only downside was there was only two bathrooms between around 17 rooms so like 20 people on my floor, and they could get quite messy throughout the day, but never to a standard that was unusable. Although sometimes the toilet paper would run out and didn't get filled up quick enough. but overall great place and would definitely stay again!

The amazing Seoul trip....
We had a great time in Korea. Food was such an experience. The night market areas are really busy & the subway too. We had a lot of fun going to the places like Everland, Lotte World, The big Palace, N Seoul Tower...and more... We will be back during the winter aeason...
