Nice stay

A nice and comfortable stop over in Alsace. Nice personell and good comfort. Restaurant was a big plus since you are a little off. But right on the wine road. Great with a dog. Perfect location for taking in all surrunding sites with ease.

The hotel room was nice and clean and my daughter liked the four-poster bed. When it is hot outside the room does become very warm. Breakfast was good. Dinner in the restaurant is good but choice was limited. Personnel very friendly. Dieffenthal is very small but Selestat nearby is a nice place with enough restaurants as well.

We picked this property as its unique South France countryside character. Location is great. However, we are disappointed with this stay. First their customer service never gets through. I called multiple times at different time of the day want to confirm how late we can check in. 2ndly, at checkin, we were informed about the breakfast. I double checked if our breakfast is included as it is not clear on the booking. I was told yes it is. I’m not a big fan of French hotel breakfast, as it is included. We rose early ( we r late risers) to eat it. They provided baguette, cheese apple milk and coffee… We only had a piece of bread and coffee. At checkout we were forced to pay additional

Veraltetes Hotel mit Charm

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Bad ok, hübsche Elsässer Herzen als Deko. Zimmer an sich sauber, jedoch schaut die Reinigung wohl nie an die Decke (grosse unübersehbare! Spinnweben). Duschtücher auch teilweise ausgefranst. Würden diese Kleinigkeiten wegfallen, würde dies viel aufwerten. Der Teppich in den Hotelgängen und Treppenhaus hat eine Erneuerung bitter nötig (in den Zimmern gottseidank KEINE Teppiche :-) ). Personal an der Reception und Restaurant sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück gut. Speiserestaurant mit guter Auswahl und wirklich gut. ACHTUNG die Desserts sind unglaublich gross! Etwas kleiner würde nicht schaden.

Meget dårlig (ligegyldig) service/betjening! Kedeligt og nedslidt værelse. Det eneste positive var god mad, men oplevelsen blev fuldstændig ødelagt på grund af den manglende service fra tjenere.

Flot - men trænger til en Update

Hotellet ligger flot og omringet af vinmarker. Det er et ældre hotel, men det er hyggeligt. Dog så er sengene på værelserne også gamle træ himmelsenge, som man sov i for 50 år siden. Vores seng (vær 34) var for kort og så knirkede sengen så meget at vi endte med at smide madrasserne ned på gulvet for at kunne sove. Service og venlighed er helt i top - men der mangler komfort i forhold til andre hoteller
