We had an amazing stay, on a walk to get some dinner supplies at a market we were offered to come celebrate a holiday with community members, a truly special experience. Check in and out with lock box very convenient, be careful driving in as the streets are narrow and be respectful :D"

"The air conditioner was not needed. We turned the heater on briefly and it worked very well. The washer and dryer were both great. The shower rooms and bathrooms were excellent. The beds were nice. "Whole hotel looks like it was good 20 years ago and someone just forgot to do anything with it since. We booked a non smoking room but when we entered the room the smoke was so heavy I could taste it and there were burn marks all over the carpet. We asked to be moved and got a new room which smellt like a mixture of smoke and peppermint airfreshener to hide it. At least in this room it was still manageable. Stains in the carpet but bedlinnen and bathroom were clean. Personell was friendly...

"Tatami mat full of stain, dust on table, coffee machine area and on lamp at sink area. Big spider web at the outdoor near open air bath. Half shelter only at open air bath and shower area, it was raining when we check in that day. Unable to shower or use onsen. Pillar in room are worn off and those outside are rusty. Washing machine have lot of fibre left on the rim, no maintenance. Breakfast and dinner served not authentic Japanese style and food quality were bad. Disappointing and regretted tgat we paid $500 plus for such room. "
