"This is from someone who is Gold tier at Hilton andy wife is Gold at Marriott. 30 countries. There’s practically nothing we haven’t seen. Yet for this particular hotel, even after mentioning to staff on the Expedia app of my arrival time (3/3:30 PM IST), I still had to wait till after 4 PM and even then a room wasn’t ready. I have never once in my life heard of people staying in their rooms on the day of checkout till 4 PM (1 full hour after normal check in time). Again, this was after clearly mentioning my arrival time. Evidently there wasn’t a single room in the entire hotel that could be made available. Very strange, and very unbecoming of the brand."
