"Worst place I have ever stayed in. Outside entrance to rooms, however it's advertised as a grand hotel, not a white trash motel. Refrigerator in first room was broken and defrosted and leaked all the floor and I slipped through the puddle. Lights didn’t work. Got switched to another room with loud banging AC unit and broken TV, volume wouldn't go any lower than 100. Continental breakfast was awful and nasty. One of the staff shouldn't be in customer service hotel hospitality field. She was so rude and obnoxious. She told my husband to shut up because she would only speak to me as I was the registered guest. They treat guests that book through Expedia (third parties) like 3rd rate citizens. Horrible experience and I made a complaint to the local county building department safety inspector for the many violations I observed. Very unsafe. "
"Loved loved loved our stay. I will definitely be back. My kids had so much fun. It was truly a wonderful experience. I only have constructive criticism and feedback regarding communication and staff knowing information. The day before I left for Westgate I called and asked about bike rentals. I was told over the phone that since we were arriving late on Friday and going to rent bikes Saturday that the bikes would probably be sold out bc it’s a packed weekend. And I said “what if I arrive right as the bike rentals open?” And he said “they’ll be sold out because you rent the bikes for the weekend.” I said “ohhh wow”. So I went out and purchased a bike rack to bring our bikes”. Fast forward im at Westgate and I’m at the pool area and I see a bunch of bikes. So I walked up to ask because i was curious. And she said “we have plenty of bikes. You can rent them by the hour but you have to come back every hour for us to check on the bikes”. I told her what I was told over the phone and she said they don’t rent bikes for the weekend. Then another thing we were told ahead of time was that when we got the Westgate bands on our wrist that’s all we needed to use the amenities and areas like the pool and the cowboy center etc. however every time we went in they checked us in and we had to wait in a line to get checked in. I asked the girl “why do we have to check in every time if we already have the wrist band?” She said “you must check in every time”. I said it didn’t make sense but w/e. "
"This was the dirtiest property i have stayed in for some time. Toilet seats and bowl were full of scat, fixtures were old dirty and most did not work."
