The Belltown Inn

8/10 Good
"The lobby gets very busy at peak times. When we arrived to check in bags at about 9 AM it was extremely packed. When we returned to check in it wasn't too bad. Every morning we were in the lobby it was standing room only. And they might only have one luggage cart. And definitely only have one elevator. They served ice water all day and coffee in the mornings. There is an outdoor courtyard that looked nice, but we never got to see the rooftop accommodations. The interior facing rooms kind of face each other so there wasn't much privacy with the blinds open. The area has a homeless issue. We had no problems with anything but if you're not comfortable with homelessness, the area isn't for you. Maybe most of downtown Seattle would apply. The area is very walkable, we went to the ports and space needle and Pike Place and no issues walking, even at night. "

"Most of your staff members were quite friendly and helpful, two others appeared very, VERY upset they actually had to work for a living. Your parking rate remains preposterous, and so are the tiny spaces for vehicles. You are NOT downtown, and you do NOT have to pay a lease on a parking lot that is NOT on your property. You are the only hotel I have ever stayed at -- and my wife, kids and grandkids travel extensively -- that has a key sports television network (the Seattle Mariners network) that is only carried in the hotel bar, not the rooms. By not carrying the Mariners in the rooms, you're missing out on more than 160 live broadcasts a year, counting the regular season, preseason and (sometimes) postseason. Also, our refrigerator barely kept items a little bit cool."

Harry Potter Sweet Suites

8/10 Good
"Overall the stay was good. Room was quite small, and was only surface cleaned. A/C was leaking water onto the floor, and did not realize it was just a house that had each room turned into a “suite”. At the end of the day, it was good for the value, and was in a great location. I asked about parking before we arrived and they made it seem like parking would be fine. It took me about an hour to find somewhere to park, and 3 blocks from our room. We left it parked there for the whole stay so we wouldn’t have to risk not finding another spot"
