We recently stayed at this 97-year-old hotel and absolutely loved the authentic, almost century-old charm it offers. From the moment you step in, you feel the history woven into every detail — a rare vibe that makes this place truly special.
The hotel is quiet and conveniently located literally next to a hospital, which surprisingly adds to its peaceful atmosphere. It’s also incredibly walkable — just steps from public transportation, great restaurants, and major Seattle attractions like The Pike Place Market, Space Needle, museums, library, and downtown shopping.
While the rooms do not have air conditioning (true to its historical roots), the hotel provides electric fans. Honestly, we didn’t even need ours — the cool harbor breeze kept the room naturally comfortable and cozy.
Customer service was excellent throughout our stay, and the affordability for such a prime location is hard to beat.
If you’re looking for a quiet, charming, and centrally located place to stay in Seattle with a touch of living history — this is it. Highly recommend!
