I recently stayed at this property for two nights and, unfortunately, found the experience to be below the usual IHG standards. From the moment we arrived, the service felt inconsistent. The only truly welcoming interaction we had was with the front desk attendant, Tanisha (I believe her name was), who was the only staff member to greet us with a smile during check-in.
Throughout our stay, we found ourselves having to request basic amenities and services multiple times, which was both frustrating and unexpected from an IHG property. Especially as travellers who have come a long way, we did not even have water bottles in our room. Having worked for IHG myself, I have always appreciated the brand’s commitment to exceptional service, but this visit did not reflect that standard. I’m not sure if this is a shift in company expectations or an isolated experience, but it was disappointing nonetheless.
I sincerely hope this feedback is taken constructively, as IHG has always been known for its hospitality, and I would love to see this property uphold the level of service that guests have come to expect.
