We loved the cozy feel of our own indoor space, the tranquil outdoor space (flowers, fountains and a lake), the fresh breakfast and the very generous hospitality of John and Beth. We spent a delightful 3 nights there, visiting the nearby wineries, hiking nearby trails and just chilling out on the lake or in the hot tub. Perfect for our 24th wedding anniversary.

We truly enjoyed our stay with our hosts, John and Beth. Their suggestion of Snoqualme Falls park was a highlight that we never would have considered. Only qualm would be, a more comfortable couch and chair to lounge in.

Just lovely.

Wonderful stay with J & B. Such a beautiful property and relaxing outdoor environment. Serenaded at night by the lake dwelling bull frog and during breakfast by the host. Nature abounds with the birds and fish bubbling in the lake.

You could not ask for a nicer quiet B&B and the hosts were amazing. You will be all by yourself as they only host one couple at a time. On Cottage Lake the facility is warm and friendly, and a little dated with the layout. It's private and breakfast is served at whatever time you want, and it's excellent! A very nice getaway that seems away from everything but only half hour-40 minutes or so from Seattle.

Best Place to Connect with Relaxation and Natures

Our stay at Cottage Lake Bed and Breakfast was very relax full. The natural beauty of the & B is breathtaking. We viewed and connected with so much of site-seeing of otters, variety of birds, fish and ducklings, not to forget about the breathtaking view of the stars and moonlight. The treehouse is a great area to view the lake and to meditate. The owners Bet, John and their greeter Sadie are very welcoming. We will return to this B & B and will be telling our friends of this extraordinary location.

Peaceful and beautiful retreat

We found Cottage Lake Bed and Breakfast to be a peaceful and very comfortable retreat for a couple of days. The accommodations are comfortable, spacious and private and the view was special. We enjoyed visiting with our hosts very much and took advantage of their very eclectic collection of books and music. We would happily return again in the future for another stay.

This place was simply amazing! From The hot tub overlooking looking the lake to the fire pit on the dock there is no bad view. The view from the office is a writer’s dream. The breakfast was so good and healthy. John and Beth are so kind and really go out of their way to make your stay special. It is the perfect romantic getaway. We will be back but for more than a weekend!

wonderful experience

We had our morning coffee in the gazebo with a fire in the fire pit, watching the birds and animal life in the lake. My wife decided they have their own lake monster,(or maybe a beaver)lol. There is a wonderful library to use with many classic titles. Quiet, peaceful, and many wineries, hiking and waterfalls nearby. Perfect variety of food for breakfast. Best of all the owners John and Beth are respectful, friendly and just wonderful people. If it was warmer, we would have taken out the kayaks and looked for that lake monster. LOL. The tree house is an amazing place to visit, what a view of the lake from up there. Only concern is the hill the cottage is on, I thought I would fall. Once I got used to the rocks that are NOT slippery at all, I was able to walk up an down to the lake without concern. Thank you for a wonderful vacation

The owners, John and Beth were so kind and hospitable. We were treated like family! The cottage is on the lake with beautiful views and wildlife. Saw a resident bald eagle frequently. Relaxing perfect getaway

We went to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary and it was beautiful, quiet and relaxing. We loved it. Plus super convenient to the wineries with a cab ride. Also the hot tub and view and breakfast by the lake was amazing !

Very quiet place by the lake. Nice bedroom with family room connected. Beth and John were very nice host of the cottage. Only downside was the bathroom was a distance away from bedroom. For older people might be a problem when they have to rush. Carry light suitcases for carrying distance from parking to entrance, a little walk. Very nice couple.

On the water's edge

We stayed in a room, not in a treehouse. It was lovely! The room is tastefully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. Overall throughout the property, every detail is thought of. The hosts are the nicest people. Beth was lovely to talk to and John played guitar for us while we were having breakfast. Harley, their dog, is very friendly and will greet you like an old friend. I wish we stayed longer to enjoy the lake. You can kayak or swim or bring a floatie and float. Thank you for openning your home to us!

Eagle eye view

Our stay at the Treehouse was nothing short of perfect. The view is incredible and the hosts Beth and John are outstanding. Breakfast was amazing! The area has much to explore. I highly recommend this as a destination if you are into tree houses!
