If you love excellent wine and fresh local produce, expect a treat when you come to this scenic town set amid beautiful countryside.

Lovers of the finer things in life flock to Woodinville to tour its famous wineries and sample tasty produce from its local farms. Come here for a truly relaxing getaway. The gorgeous countryside provides access to a wide array of outdoor activities to complement its great food and drink.

Discover the highest concentration of wineries north of Seattle, with well over 100 located in or around Woodinville. Tour their facilities and taste their wares as you enjoy the scenery of this picturesque part of the world.

The first stop for many visitors to Woodinville is the Chateau Ste. Michelle winery. Fall in love with the vintage charm of this gorgeous building the second you step out of your car. It was established in 1912. The current building was erected in 1976. Wander its elegant grounds and high-ceilinged rooms and you might think it is a relic of an earlier time. Sample delicious wine and cheese and browse the shop for your favorites to take away with you. In the summer months, try to catch one of the concerts hosted at this lovely venue.

For a change from wine, visit one of the local breweries such as Redhook Brewery & Forecasters Pub or a distillery such as Woodinville Whiskey Company. Enjoy excellent food as well at a restaurant such as The Herbfarm, which serves produce grown locally on its own dedicated farms.

Make time to get active. The Sammamish River and its surroundings offer ideal environments for horseback riding, climbing, kayaking, hiking and much more. If you need a recovery day, soothe aching muscles with a luxury treatment at the Spa at Willows Lodge.

Part of Woodinville’s great appeal is its proximity to Seattle. Drive from the big city to this lovely town in less than 30 minutes. Find out for yourself how the area’s perfect conditions for grape-growing have made Woodinville into the thriving wine hub it is today.

Basking in the morning sun and enjoying the lush green views of Pacific Northwest is totally worth waking up early on Sunday for this balloon ride.

Maltby
Great spot for outdoor shows that usually cater to the middle aged and older crowd. If you want to feel young, this is the place to be. Good wine, too. If you're curious, that's Jethro Tull on the stage.

Leota

While Leota might not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Chateau Ste. Michelle and The Village at Totem Lake.

Leota
For the most part, pretty abandoned railroad tracks. Except for this one guy who drives his personal train up and down the tracks once a day apparently.

The Wedge

While there might not be top attractions in The Wedge, you can explore the larger area and discover places like Chateau Ste. Michelle and The Village at Totem Lake.

The Antique Mall in Snohomish was just a short side trip, and is the largest antique mall my wife and I have ever been in..We were there 3 hours and didn't see it all on the first day. The local wineries in the Woodinville area were numerous and nice

Great wine tasting destination with a growing brewery and distillery scene, just outside of Seattle. Not the easiest place to navigate without a car or a tour company, but more wonderful tasting rooms than you could safely visit in a week.

We went to a concert at Chateau Saint Michelle, and visited some of the wineries there. You should have that as an option
