Perfect overnight stay - lovely comfortable room and beds, good choice on menu for both dinner and breakfast. The hotel location was convenient for seafront and town centre, and all staff welcoming and friendly. Thoroughly recommend.

Sadly this pub hotel was very disappointing and dreadful value. There was significant black mould in the shower and the mattress was the worst we’ve ever slept on - it should have been replaced years ago. Breakfast (extra cost) was also disappointing and over priced compared to better options elsewhere in Seaford.

Perfectly okay but disappointing for the price. Tea/coffee-making supplies very basic; a fridge was mentioned by Expedia so I'd hoped for fresh milk but there was no fridge and only longlife milk. The oldest and clunkiest TV/cable box combo I've seen for a while, though it did work once you got the hang of the remote controls. There was a sea view, but quite limited between the houses. Lovely old building with period features, a convenient location for the station, town centre and seafront, comfy bed and very little traffic noise. Seaford seems to be a thriving town even off season. I didn't have any meals so can't comment on those.

A family run public house. We had booked four rooms to stay for a family event. We had a call from the land lady to say there was an upstairs flat we could use for all the family. Very kindly kept the same price. It was spacious and very warm. We all had a bedroom and could meet in the lounge to relax and make drinks. Located not far frpm the sea. In the morning we had a large table in the restaurant part and had a lovely breakfast. Although the pub comes under Greene King it is very much a family run pub including decor etx. I think its so important to support local independent landlords.

Overnight stay
An overnight stay We arrived late from our ferry but we had no problem with check in. Room was nice with everything that was needed. Breakfast was freshly cooked and filling. Hosts were very friendly and obliging.

We appreciate this is a small business and my partner and I write this reluctantly as we do not want to discourage people from staying here. I think overall our experiences was negative and the price point is a little high for what you get. The bed was small and the mattress was uncomfortable and noisy. Duvet a little small. No mini fridge. Sea view dubious. Breakfast extra. Noise coming from above and below. The

Ideally situated near Seaford shops and the seafront. Staff were lovely. Room was clean and comfortable; bed a little too hard for me but can’t cater for all personal preferences, certainly didn’t spoil our stay. Very good cooked English breakfast. Highly recommend. We’ll be back!

Great for a few nights getaway, it is an old building showing its age, however room was clean and tidy, all staff were friendly and helpful. We had a freshly cooked full english @ a very reasonable £7.50. It was all cooked fresh and hot. Coffee and tea on tap help yourself. I would stay again, the minus is parking, there are 4/5 spaces at front which are unrestricted, you will be lucky to get one, there is a car park a very easy few minutes walk but is a pay and display. Its about 500mtr walk to sea front where there is ample free parking. All in all a very nice night and worth the cost for our short visit.

The Wellington Hotel is a traditional pub B&B a few minutes walk from Seaford beach. My room was bright, clean and comfortable with a nice view. Staff and the landlord were welcoming and very friendly. I highly recommend The Wellington, it's a great place to stay for anyone who wants to explore the south coast. Seaford is a lovely town with good road and train access to Brighton and nearyby towns.
