"My family, including two children, and I have been traveling around Europe for four years, and this is the first time we faced such a situation. Through Expedia, we booked and fully paid for a room for two nights — December 30 and 31. The room was very cold, and we had to sleep fully dressed. After 3:00 PM, the property owner, accompanied by two men, knocked on the door, behaved aggressively, and demanded we leave immediately. "This time, we couldn't be accommodated in this property due to the fact we had forgotten one photo ID. We understood that'. The receptionist perfectly explained the rules. The refund was processed by the booking company. That's fine. The strange experience was in the restaurant we used before heading back home. The tip was rounded up much higher we mentioned. It was bizarre. After calling the hotel's restaurant first we heard we need to come back to do refund difference through the terminal...

"Very nice and clean accomodation for the price, right in the center of the town. Bathroom is big and hotel room is quite modern. Only downside is the lack of a room access keycard as the hotel still uses the classic key to unlock your door. In 2026 I think all hotels no matter what location should implement keycards to access all hotel facilities as it’s more secure and easy maintenance for the staff and is just expected these days."
