"We visited Stockholm for 3 days and spent 2 nights at the Downtown Camper. Its location was perfect for exploring the city and the hotel had a fabulously relaxed and welcoming atmosphere - our children thought it was “the coolest hotel ever”. It was easy to find the hotel having travelled into the city on the Arlanda Express from the airport and it was only a short walk from the station. All the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful; reception, bar, restaurant and cleaning staff were kind, chatty and polite. We were lucky to be offered an early check-in so took our bags to the room, which our children said was “the coolest room ever”). It was very clean, had lots of space with a double bed in one room and a sofa bed in the other, and the boys thought that the window seats were brilliant. The receptionist gave us advice about routes to explore in order to see the sights we wanted to visit. We loved watching the world go by on the swings in the bar, roasting marshmallows at the indoor fire table, going up to laze in the nets in the lobby, using the Photo Booth and playing table tennis on our floor. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend the hotel. "

"The hotel staff was great!! My TV & bed linens, not so much. The TV didn’t work & my comforter wouldn’t stay in the duvet cover. Both were quite dingy."

"Do not stay here if you have children. Children are clearly not welcome and they make that clear. Although the rules say “no children in the pool after 7:00 pm” you should expect the staff to come down at least one or two times while you are in the pool to make you feel unwelcome. Though all the kids including ours were respectful the stated policy is “this is a gym and relax pool” clearly not intended for children. Also expect repeated glares from breakfast and lobby staff. They are more than happy to have loud drunks around but not children. If you are traveling with kids I highly recommend seeking different accommodations."
