"Room and amenities. Room heater rattled. Deadbolt on door did not work, pillows were a joke, way to fat all eight of them, no extra blanket for warmth.
No functioning pool, no bathtub in room, not advertised though. .Sparse breakfast items.
When talked with staff at checkout she just said well, you should have told us so we could move you.
"
"The room was nice and breakfast was good, but when we went to go to the pool, it was down. The front desk said it would be closed for the duration of our stay and that there was no chlorine. We traveled with 7 children and chose this hotel with the pool for a reason. We were very disappointed, especially because a lack of chlorine in the pool is completely preventable. No communication at check in regarding the pool. It felt dishonest. "
"There were several minor issues, but when we returned from my father-in-laws funeral 2/18 just before 3pm, our card keys didn't work. It turned out the batteries in the reader needed to be changed, we waited about 45 minutes for someone who was able to service it. When they finally got our door open they said it would be easier for "us" to just move to the next room. I was attempting a discussion with the employee, trying to update her on my observations of our lock function, etc... but she just kept talking over. After about a half dozen such exchanges, I yelled to get her attention at which point she said I could not treat her like that and we needed to get out. She told me I could not retrieve my things, but I did and we left. So we only had one of our two nights and we had to go elsewhere under extreme stress. There is much more to this story and I tried to contact hotels.com yesterday but neither your web portal for reporting issues OR your 800 number worked. Please feel free to email me and provide a means for me to contact you. I do expect charge adjustments, ideally a full refund. Thank you."
