Best Value Stay
Honestly, one of the best places to stay within this budget! The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, especially for the price. The overall atmosphere was quiet and pleasant, making my stay even better.
For the price, you can't beat it in the Soo. The room was SO clean, spacious, and well-maintained, bed was comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. Free WiFi was fast and check-in was super quick and friendly.
It's an older motel but you can tell the owners take real pride in it - it's spotless and well cared for. Perfect location close to Sault College, shopping, and restaurants.
Clean, fair priced and friendly - will definitely be my go-to spot when I'm in Sault Ste. Marie. Highly recommend!
I agree with all the reviewers who gave terrible ratings for this location.
The front desk person was very nice and pleasant to deal with - that's the only positive about the staff.
However, the property itself and specifically Room 11 are under any standards of cleanliness. Very filthy floors and bathroom - not acceptable.
It was also impossible to get in touch with the property before arrival. The phone number listed online is wrong, and I couldn't reach them even through Expedia customer service.
For one night to rest after a long drive:
Pros: Convenient, quiet location, easy to find, parking right in front of the room, quiet heater.
Cons: Filthy room, wrong contact info, poor cleanliness overall.
I would not recommend it to other travellers. Better to pay extra and get a decent place.

We were looking for an inexpensive place to take a break from camping in the rain. Decent sized rooms, nice space. Happy to have air conditioner and couch. Major issue with cleanliness of the room. Very dusty. Toilet paper holder broken. Doors and walls very marked. Could live with overnight. At 11:30 my son discovered that the fitted sheet was stained with something. We went to use hide a bed - no sheets and it also hadn’t been cleaned. Grabbed sleeping bag from the car. I don’t mind older properties. There is a difference between older and dirty.
Had a wonderful stay and they were very accommodating when I had to call at 6;00 am to be let back into room cause my husband left his wallet

Location is perfect at the Sault
Dislike: Looks old, a bit dirty (Bath and Bed), but we slept great
Cheap price ($80 all in) Decent location to Trans Canada hwy. No towels, dirty floor mat for shower, used my own bedding and glad I had it. Rust and ceiling mold visible. This was unit 1, not sure of other units.

Nice management. Mostly clean. Sink could be replaced. Had to wash bathroom tub floor before we could use it. Used 4 lysol wipes. Beds comfortable
The customer service is outstanding due to the new management's improvements to the facilities and services. I especially appreciate how they promptly address customer concerns. If you find something unsatisfactory and inform them, you will not find the same issue on your next visit.
The price was right and the staff were friendly. Aside from that the room was outdated, dirty, and the room next to us was blocked off with “DO NOT ENTER” signs and had a security outside it running all night long. We purchased a remote in order to use the TV, as we couldn’t reach staff. We also bought blankets and pillows because the ones in the room smelled dusty. The bed was old dusty and hard as a board. I can see that the rooms were recently painted in an attempt to freshen things up. But soap, water, new beds, pillows and bed coverings would have gone much further.

This place isn’t that bad. Comfy beds and clean enough rooms. I am just super inconvenienced with regards to the towel situation. I got in late last night and needed to shower, but no towels in the room. I called down to front desk, he told me 10 minutes. The towels never arrived. I ended up using my shirt as a towel. In the morning I went to front desk and nobody was there, called on the phone and nobody answered. Waiting 10 minutes before coming back to my room. I guess I’m using my shirt again.
What a bad experience in this way, it’s too bad because I would have given this place atleast 4 stars if it wasn’t for this.
I had a great stay at Skyline Motel! The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Everything was neat and welcoming, and the overall experience was much better than I expected. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed my stay.
Would not recommend this place. Although there were clean towels and sheets on the bed, the cleaning was minimal.
They kept the award plaques on the office wall to make it look good but upon closer inspection, last ones were from 2012.
Yuk.
There was no coffee pot in the room, even though that was listed in their ad. No phone, no wifi, no clock/radio. There wasn't even a lamp in the room. There was no way I was going to have a shower there. It was basically a grey box with a hard bed. Avoid this place.
