I’ve been staying in this hotel for about 8 years and have been a witness to its fall into disrepair and dinginess. The staff are doing their best, but it’s obvious the owners aren’t invested in updating or maintaining the property. It’s a shame because it’s in a great location and very convenient to get to. Hope someone takes over soon and restores it to its former glory.

Double charge, no response

Decent accommodation for Cape Verde standards, however, staff very unprofessional and rude. We did the booking through Hotels.com and it was paid via credit card in advance. When checking out, the employee claimed it is not paid and wanted me to pay it again on the spot. Even made me show my bank statement. This wasted 15 minutes of our time while needing to go to the airport. After some time the employee decided to properly check and realised it's actually paid. Then when finally checking out, we had to pay some additional stuff we consumed. Same employee claimed the first time my card didn't work so we repeated the payment process. Arrived home only to realise they charged me twice. Reached out to them a week ago, no reply.

Oasis Port Grand Hotel is echt een fijne plek om te verblijven, waar luxe en comfort goed samenkomen. Bij binnenkomst merk je meteen de moderne en stijlvolle sfeer op, waardoor je je gelijk op je gemak voelt. De kamers zijn ruim, netjes ingericht en voorzien van alle gemakken zoals gratis Wi-Fi, een flatscreen-tv en een minibar. De bedden zijn bovendien super comfortabel. De service is top; het personeel is altijd vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze doen echt hun best om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken.

Nice hotel but not near beach

Nice hotel and pool facilities. Great breakfast. Rooms very clean. Pillows are not comfortable. Friendly staff Be aware the photos are misleading this hotel is nowhere near the beach as the main photos suggest. That is a beach bar. The hotel is a 10-25 minute walk away inland

This hotel is a great location in the city center and walking distance to the beach. The breakfast is wonderful with many choices of food. Outdoor spaces are very relaxing.

Great choice at breakfast. Overall the hotel was a good standard with o lovely feel. The air conditioning worked really well and this was very important for us after hot day's in the sunshine .

The pool area is nice and the beach club too. The rooms however are quite small, with a suitcase in the room there’s hardly space to walk around. The gym equient is terrible, a lot of it is broken, the staff does not know how it works and the treadmill is so old that half of the buttons don’t work and it malfunctioned a couple of times while I was using jt so I fell of it. Very dangerous. The old wooden floors in the rooms are not so clean and should be polished. The staff is friendly but not helpful, I had to get the treadmill working myself and come up with solutions for my other problems by myself too. Although I had 3 pieces of luggage I had to ask if someone could help me with them and if it was up to the reception staff, I would have still been waiting for transport to the airport. The breakfast is really good however, that’s the absolute best point about this hotel.
